“He’s still alive.”
“Find a way to save him. Stop the bleeding.” Leonardo instructed, his voice as steady as ever. The stark contrast between his composure and Samantha’s panicked state made it feel like he was a lighthouse in the middle of a storm, guiding her through the chaos.
Her voice trembled, but there was a surprising edge to it, a quiet defiance. “I don’t want to.”
“Why’s that?”
“He deserves to die!
Inst thinking about what he had tried to do to her made her stomach tum. He was a habitual offender–she was sure of it. A scumbag like him had probably ruined The lives of countless other women. The thought of saving him disgusted her to her core. Someone like that didn’t deserve to keep breathing.
Leando’s voice remained cold and logical. “It’s not about what he deserves. It he dies, you could be charged wi

murder. Are you prepared for that?”
There was brief silence on the other end before Leonardo’s voice returned to its usual calm. “Samantha, listen to me. Whether it’s self–defense or not, it’s not something you can decide on your own. It took a while, but the bleeding finally seemed to slow. Her hands were covered in his blood, but she didn’t bother washing them. Instead, she curled up in the couter and waited.
Then, she heard a commotion outside the door.
“Stepaside! We’re the police!”
“We didn’t call the cops. There’s nothing going on here, officers. You can head back”
“Yeah, nothing’s going on here it must have been a false report.”
“We appreciate you coming out, but nothing’s wrong!”
The group clearly wanted to brush it off, but the police weren’t having it.
“If someone called, that means there’s definitely something going on. We need to investigate. Who’s inside this room? What’s going on in there? “Nothing. The customers must be drinking……
“Yes! Of course! They’re definitely just drinking!”
“Open the door!!
“Come on, you’ve already checked all the other rooms, and there was nothing out of the ordinary. What’s the harm in skipping this one?
The officer med for you going to open the door, or do we need to force it open?”
