Chapter 11
Our time together was pleasant, but it was also tiring.
Half–asleep, I took a quick glance at Simon’s Evilness Level before drifting into slumber.
It had already dropped to 50%. Things were getting better.
When I woke up again, the study was completely different.
All of Simon’s collections were cleared away, leaving no trace of them behind. If it weren’t for the lingering marks on my body, I would’ve thought that last night was just a dream
1 dragged my sore body off the couch and changed into clean clothes Then, I went out to check on Lucas.
Strangely, despite being beaten up so severely by Simon, Lucas acted as if nothing had happened. He had already returned to work with Susan

Although we stayed in the same house, I did not see him for the next three days.
He kept telling me that he was busy with work at the office, never coming home for meals or sleep.
Then, the end of the year arrived. Simon busied himself with his meetings while I got caught up in charity work, delivering supplies to those in need, leaving me little time to think about him.

“Don’t tell me that Susan is trying to seduce Simon now that she has broken up with Lucas.”

“Would Simon be led astray so easily?”
“Didn’t I say before? Susan is Simon’s first love. No one can trump first loves.”
Istared at the comment section quietly, sipping on my champagne.
Soon, they both retemed to the hall.
For some reason, they actually looked well–matched when they walked side–by–side.
On the way back, Simon got into my car, to my surprise. He didn’t say anything, and neither did 1.
The journey home seemed endless. After what seemed like ages, we still hadn’t arrived.
Curious, I glanced out the window, only to find that we had left the city instead of

Where are we going?” asked Simon.
“it’s christmas Eveji wanted to show you a place, Simon replied.
The car case to a stop at the top of a hill.
It was chilly. Simon took off his coat and draped it over my shoulder
