Simon carefully placed me down on the couch. He avoided my gaze, his ears buming red. “There’s no antidote for the aphrodisiac. Get some rest. I’ll get you some ice. It should wear off in about three hours.”
Ifrowned, “Why wait? There’s a perfectly good solution right here,”
Simon’s face darkened immediately. He narrowed his eyes and glared at me, “You want me to call Lucas in here?”
“Ooh, Simon’s possessiveness is tearing its head.”
“he’s really forced to let Lucas sleep with Jessica, he’s going to lose it for real and end the world,”

Simon’s aggression instantly vanished.
His body still felt cold to the touch, but the fire burning inside me was relentless. I couldn’t stop myself from pressing closer, seelong relief in his cool touch. Pulling him lower, I buried my face in his shoulder, wrapping my arms around his waist.
Simon seemed to be frozen to the spot. His body was tense.
Seeing no reaction, I slipped his jacket off and began unbuttoning his shirt.
He remained motionless, but his body wasn’t unaffected. A pair of furry ears appeared atop his head.
“Damn! Simon has such a fascinating trait. His incubus form appears only when his emotions are running high!”

I reached up and touched his ears, only for him to turn away, his face red. “I’ll go get you some ice, Jessie.”
“Why are you leaving?” I murmured, trying my best to craist the heat as I clung to his neck.
“You said it yourself. I’m a freak. I’m disgusting.” Simon lowered his head. He gripped the fabric of the couch so tightly that his knuckles turned white. “Besides, you saw me yesterday.”
He trailed off.
I didn’t have the time to explain everything to him. I simply pulled him down and kissed him.
He was trembling, his breathing growing heavier as his ears glowed faintly gold. They twitched restlessly.
“Don’t do this, Jessie, Simon struggled to say as he pulled away

Pressing my face against his neck, Ildsted him a few more times before looking up at him with wide, pleading eyes.

The study was filled with the sound of crashing frames as photos fell from the wall,

Three hours had finally passed.
My face flushed red as I leaned against Simon’s broad cluest, pulling a blandet over my body.
“Oh, the screen’s normal again Walt, why is it moming now?”
“Damn. It looks like someone got some nice supper.”
