Victoria forced herself to endure the discomfort and stiffly replied with a hum
“That’s more like it be back really soon.” Leon tucked a strand of her hair behind her eat, and his fingers trailed down the care of her earlobe. He caressed her intimately

Every extra second of close contact with him felt unbearable. Now she just wanted him gone as soon as possible.

An hour later, another notification popped up on his phone. He first assumed it was an urgent text from Victoria, only to find a voice message from Edwin “Daddy, that lady isn’t your secretary, is she?”
Leonroe. He hadn’t expected such a question, and just as he jyas about to reply, he suddenly remembered telling Edwin that he was going on a business trip. Edwin should assume he was on a plane at this hour and couldn’t receive texts.
Meanwhile, Edwin wasted in his room. If Leon replied, that’d mean he wasn’t on a business trip and had lied.
As the father of such a brilliant child, Leon wasn’t about to make such a low–level mistake,
Victoria waited for hours and received response, so she decided to call him.
As soon as the call was connected, Eva’s voice came from the phone before she could even speak “Leon, I’ve showered” Leon’s deep and gentle voice followed. “Get some rest, I need to take this call.”
