Janice’s voice struck like a thunderbolt, cutting through the haze of Malcolm’s muddled thoughts. He abruptly opened his eyes, instinctively realizing. that he no longer wished to continue with Reina.
He pushed Reina away and exclaimed, “What are you doing?”
Reina was shocked by the sudden change. She fell to the floor in embarrassment and stared at Malcolm in disbelief.
Malcolm glanced at his disheveled clothes before turning his gaze to Heina Janice’s voice reverberated in his mind, Igniting an unfamiliar sense of disgust within him. Without a word, he abruptly stood up and walked away.
Reina rushed to catch up with him, gripping Malcolm’s sleeve tightly. Her voice trembled with a mix of hurt and confusion as she cried, “Malcolm, why are you treating me like this? Did I do something wrong?”
Malcolm paused, releasing his sleeves from her grasp. He took a deep breath to suppress his anger and said firmly, “Reina, I’ve already made it clear. I won’t sleep with you until after we’re married.”
Reina had more to express but was abruptly cut off by Malcolm. His tone was icy and unwavering as he said, “Enough. I have other plans. I’m leaving.”
After that, he left the room without looking back, leaving Reina in shock.
She shuddered at his resolute demeanor. As his fiancée, she couldn’t understand why he was so distant. Did he have feelings for someone else instead? No! She would not allow it to happen.
She rushed out, determined to catch up with him. She needed to uncover Malcolm’s thoughts. However, as she reached the banquet hall entrance, all she could see was Malcolm’s back as he slipped into his car.
“Malcolm, wait for me!” She sprinted after him desperately. But she could only watch helplessly as the car zoomed off, vanishing into the darkness.
“Damn it!” she exclaimed, stomping her feet in frustration.
Malcolm instructed the driver to take him to the closest hotel. He then pulled out his phone and dialed a familiar number. “Where are you?” Janice’s voice, tinged with confusion, came through the phone. “Mr. Gomez, it’s quite late now. What’s going on?”
“I’m at the Interstellar Hotel. Come over right away,” Malcolm said before hanging up and tossing the phone aside. He gently closed his eyes, thoughts consumed by the captivating image of Janice.

Within just 20 minutes, there was a knock at the hotel room door. Malcolm opened it to find Janice standing there, a hint of reluctance in her gaze. “Mr. Gomez, you summoned me here so urgently. Aren’t you worried your fiancée might be upset?” she asked.
He ignored her words, pulling her into the room. Shutting the door firmly, he pressed her against it before lowering his head to capture her lips in a searing kiss.
