Malcolm felt an inexplicable sense of irritation when he saw the mischievous glint in Janice’s eyes. He took a deep breath to tamp down his a said coldly, “As you wish.”
He turned sharply and walked away as if he didn’t want to say another word to her. Janice watched him go, and her smile grew wider. She knew that Malcolm couldn’t resist her.
She walked into the bedroom. It was very spacious and decorated in the same style as the rest of the villa
It was minimalistic, but it gave off a cold and unwelcoming air. It wasn’t what Janice expected.
“This bed..” Janice walked to the bedside, running her fingers over the sheets. It was made of fine silk and was cold and smooth to the touch. However, it didn’t give Janice a sense of comfort.
“You don’t like it?” asked Malcolm.
Janice turned and saw him standing in the doorway. “I don’t like key things,” she said.
Malcolm stared at her without a word.
“The curtains are too dark,” Janice added, walking to the floor–to–ceiling windows. “Swap them for belge–colored ones. Also…”
She commented on the other decorations of the room like she was the woman of the house.
Malcolm stood where he was and watched her telling him what to do. However, he didn’t feel annoyed at all.
“What’s wrong? You don’t want to waste money?” teased Janice when Malcolm didn’t respond.
“Do as you wish,” he said finally.
Janice’s lips curved into a satisfied smile.
“That’s more like it,” she said, sauntering over to Malcolm. Standing on tiptoe, she whispered into his ear, “You’ll have to try it out once I’m done with The makeover.”
She turned away while humming a tune and started ordering the maids about, completely ignoring the dark look in Malcolm’s eyes.
A few days later, Janice smiled in satisfaction as she looked around the redecorated villa. Pulling out her phone, she texted Reina the address.
“Hey, Reina, want to come over and have a look?”
Setting her phone aside, she started preparing dinner while humming a molody.
Meanwhile, Reina frowned as she read the address in Janice’s text. Why did it look a little familiar?
She searched the address on Google Maps and gasped in shock. If she remembered correctly, it was Malcolm’s villa. How would Janice know the place?
Reina immediately drove straight to Malcolm’s villa
Not long after, the maid announced Reina’s arrival. Malcolm instinctively looked at Janice, who was arranging the cutlery at the dining table.
Janice chuckled “There comes the pain in your ass”
Malcolm rook a deep breath, suppressing his irritation. He strode to the dining table and grabbed Janice by the wrist, then led her firmly toward the study
“Malcolm, what are you doing?” Janice asked, blinking in mock innocence.
Malcolm led her forward in quick strides, and he was holding on to her wrist so forcefully that she felt like her bones were going to break. She frowned in pain but didn’t struggle as he led her into the study.
The door slammed shut behind them. The click of the lock resounded clearly in the quiet study.
He pressed Janice against the door and stared at her as if he was going to swallow her whole
“Malcolm, you’re hurting me,” Janice said with a frown. However, she didn’t sound angry at all–flirtatious even.
Malenim’s breath caught in his throat as he stared at her seductive expression, an inexplicable sense of frustration roiling within him.
He let go of her and stepped backward. Looking away, he said coldly, “You’d better behave and stop causing trouble,”
Janice massaged her reddened wrist and smirked. She walked up to him and held his chin with her finger, forcing him to look her in the eye.
“What’s wrong, Mr. Gomez? Afraid that I’ll do something to you?” she teased with a laugh. “Or are you afraid of my Reina finding out?”
Malcolm’s gaze sharpened, Grabbing Janice’s wrist, he pushed her against the desk and said in a dangerous tone, “Don’t test my limits, Janice”
“Limits?” Janice raised an eyebrow and said mischievously, “Do you even have limits?” She let her words trail off teasingly.
Her warm breath tickled his ear, and the smell of her perfume made him feel restless. Malcolm gulped, and his gaze darkened.
Noticing the change in his expression, Janice’s smile widened. She leaned closer to his ear and whispered, “Mr. Gomez, why don’t we do something fun Instead of standing here doing nothing?”
Chapter 15
She trailed a slender finger down his chest and made his heart skip a beat
Malcolm’s breathing grew ragged. Fighting the urge to grab her, he said hoarsely, “Don’t play with fire, Janice.”
“Put out the fire then,” she replied, her finger tracing over his Adam’s apple.
She continued in a low voice, “Besides, if you go outside looking like this, she’ll know something’s off. It’ll be troublesome to deal with.”
She paused on purpose with a provocative look in her eye.
A complicated expression flitted across Malcolm’s face. He lifted her and carried her to the desk. He sat her down on it and said, “You asked for this, Janice”
Malcolm’s voice was hoarse, tinged with desire. Janice’s smile grew wider as she watched his reaction. She knew that
at her guess was
guess was right.
Malcolm picked her up and pressed her against the desk roughly. Nevertheless, he was being careful with her.
Janice wrapped her arms around his neck and said, “Of course I low that.” Her tone was provocative, seductive, and cheeky.
The door of the study was locked, and the curtains were drawn. The study was dark, and the only sound in the air was their panting.
Right then, a loud locking ruined the atmosphere.
The knocking grew more urgent and finally snapped Malcolm back to reality. He took a deep breath and suppressed his lust.
He pushed Janice aside, and the look in his eye was frighteningly story. Janice stumbled forward and quickly hugged Malcolm from behind
