Chapter 15
After I decided to marry Mark, Logan came to see me.
I heard that Meryl had passed away two months ago.
Her death had been quite tragic.
In the end, Logan hadn’t even bothered to see her one last time.
With a stubborn look in his eyes, Logan asked, “Natalie, are you really going to marry him?”
“Of course. He’s a wonderful man, and I love him,” I replied honestly.
Logan’s face fell immediately, a shadow of despair crossing his features.
His lips trembled as he mumbled, “Do you think things might have turned out differently if I had paid more attention to Meryl back then?”
Even after all this time, Logan was still trapped in the past.
I could only say, “Logan, you need to move on. We can’t go back to what was.
“And honestly, I don’t want to. I’m a thousand times happier now than I ever was before.”
