Chapter 9
Blair made his way to the man and pulled him up by the suit jacket. He pushed him out of the hospital building roughly, ignoring all his pleas and begging.]
I held
my
breath as Olavir turned to look at me. “No one can insult you. Not now, not ever.“]
It was hard to believe I was truly seeing the loving look in his eyes. Olavir sent me a smile before turning to look at the hospital staffs. He addressed the nurses first.
“You’re all fired. You have thirty minutes to pack all your rubbish and leave this hospital.“]
They were all shocked by his proclamation. They tried to come up to him to beg but the guards stood in their way, making them stumble back.
He turned to the guard holding me. “Get her admitted. She needs to get treated now.” []
The man nodded his head. “Yes sir.”
- me.]]
Without wasting time, he began to carry me into the hospital. I turned back to following straight after me
As soon as we entered the ward, the doctor wasted no time and began attending to my wounds. The door was open so I could still see Olavir standing outside.
His face was twisted into a look of annoyance. His phone was pressed to his ear so it was obvious he was making a call.[].
“I don’t give a fuck what that’s about. What I said stands and that’s final!” A voice said from over the phone.[]
No doubt it was my other brothers he was talking to. It sounded like they were about to fight.
I was getting a bad feeling about this whole thing.]
I don’t remember how long they’d been operating on me for. All I knew was that I was in pain. Excruciating one. All I could think about was the pain that seemed to penetrate right through my bones.
Hours had passed before the doctor dropped his tools and stepped back from me. The door swung open and Olavir walked in. He examined me for a moment before turning to the doctor.]
“How is she doing now?” He asked, a hint of worry in his tone.
“Not good at all, my prince.” the doctor shook his head. “None of our treatments are working for her. Her injuries are very serious.” The doctor explained. He had a grim expression on his face as he spoke.[]
Olavir’s expression was the same as the director’s. He turned to the guards and motioned for one of them to come over.
“Fetch the moon potion for me. If anything, that should help with her health.“[]
“Yes, my lord.” The guard bowed his head and immediately left the ward.[]
He moved towards my bed and grabbed my hand. Even though I was in a lot of pain, I felt the warmth emanating from him. It made me feel a tad bit less miserable than I was feeling.
Chapter 9
“You’ll be fine, Adella. I know you will.” He smiled at me.
Not a moment later, the guard enters the room again. He is panting heavily, a small bottle in his hand. He must have run to get the motion.
“My prince.” The guard handed the bottle to Olavir.]
“What is this?” The doctor stepped closer to him, his eyes fixed on the bottle.[]
“Moon potion.” Olavir explained. “If we inject her with this, it’ll heal her up in no time.“]]
The doctor looked visibly surprised. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing too. Moon potion was something the most treasured medicine in the werewolf world. Only a hundred bottles can be produced each year. Apart from that, it could only be used exclusively for royal purposes.]
“I can’t believe it.” The doctor looked astonished as he collected the potion from Olavir.[]
“Please administer the injection for her doctor.” Olavir said, his patience starting to wear thin.]
The doctor shook himself out of his daze. “Of course, my prince.“[]
He turned to me and took out a syringe. I closed my eyes as he slowly injected the potion into me. It was like a slow warm feeling had ran through my whole body.
“My prince,” the doctor began, “You are the inventor of this potion. You’re actually one of the greatest scientists in the werewolf world.“[]
Olavir nodded his head, his gaze still fixed on me. His words seemed to echo in my head as the potion continued to do its work of healing me.
No doubt the news came as a great surprise to me, but at the moment the weakness was such that I was in no position to say anything.
I closed my eyes, the pain slowly starting to leave my body. Parts of my body that had been bleeding non–stop began to
close up.
Olavir exclaimed in surprise as he saw the wounds on my body healing: “I invented this potion as a means of helping those who would be in need of it. It is an honor for it to save my sister.“[]
