Chapter 27
A lot of them were politicians, athletes, rich businessmen, and a lot of celebrities.[]
They were all well dressed and waiting in anticipation for my arrival.
It sent goosebumps down my body. They had all come here for me. I was someone of importance and they’d all come here to welcome me.[]
I could feel my heart beating loud as we landed. Haelor sent me a nod, a look of conviction in his eyes.]
I took a deep breath and stepped out of the plane slowly.
The sound of the crowd of people clapping was deafening. They were all applauding on their feet as I slowly walked the flowered carpet.
A group of maids immediately rushed to me and began to smooth down my dress.[]
I couldn’t believe I was the one getting this kind of treatment. I’d never had believed I could be treated this way before.
People actually wanted me here. I wasn’t being insulted or abused.
I was loved.
So this was the luxury of the rich. It was such a shame the amount of resources that had to go into this dress. There were so many people that had come out to serve me. Not to mention the maids that had come to help me with my dress as well.[]
It was beautiful though so that was something.
“Adella.” Olavir stepped out of the crowd.]
He was dressed in a tailor made suit that seemed to make him look even more dashing than he normally did.]
“You ready?” He asked, a reassuring smile on his face.
I didn’t feel quite like that but all I could do was nod my head as a response.]
He grabbed my hand and gave it a light squeeze. With that, he turned to regard the guests.
“I announce to you all, the princess of the Luciano family. Princess Adella Luciano.“]]
The whole crowd began to clap, all happy at my return.
“Welcome back princess.”
“She’s finally home after so many years and we are so happy to have her back.” Olavir said, beaming from ear to ear.
It was hard to believe that I wasn’t actually dreaming. This was all very real.]
“Adella.” I turned to see Askhan by my side.]

I felt a bit embarrassed being the center of attention. I wasn’t used to having so many people looking at me in admiration.]
Once I looked at Olavir and Askhan, I felt myself calm down. Haelor was walking behind us as well.[]
It didn’t matter what happened. As long as I had them by my side, all would be fine.[
“Thank you all for welcoming me,” I said to the crowd.[]
“It makes me so happy that you all came all the way here just for me. I really appreciate you
“We appreciate you too, princess.” The applause was deafening.

Having these three by my side made it easier to be more confident. I felt like I could take on the world with them by my side.
“We finally have a star back with us.” A popular female musician smiled at me.
“I’m glad you’re finally back home princess.” A renowned footballer clapped his hand.[]
It was almost unbelievable. I still remembered the harsh words that were screamed at me by the people at Galaxy Pack when I’d been announced as Luna.
“She’s our Luna?”
“Of all the skanks that could have been picked.” []
“I can’t believe the Alpha decided to choose someone like her.” Someone spat.
I’d forced myself to look at the floor that day, holding back my tears so I didn’t start crying in front of the whole pack.
This was nothing like back then. I was actually loved and welcomed.]
As we walked down the pathway, I couldn’t help the uncomfortable feeling I was getting.
I could feel eyes on me. Someone was watching me. With some malicious intent or something.]
I snapped my head to the crowd, wondering who it could be. It was an uncomfortable feeling crawling down my skin.
I didn’t know why I was feeling like this. A part of me felt like maybe it was just in my head.]
Maybe I was just imagining it. So why was I still getting the feeling?
Olavir must have noticed that something was wrong with me.[]
“Is everything okay?” He asked, a look of worry in his eyes.
I looked around once more and shook my head, forcing a smile on my face.]
“It’s fine.” I smiled.
Olavir stared at me for a while before he put a smile on his face as well.]

“Where are our brothers?” I asked, changing the topic immediately
“We’ll get to see them really soon.” Olavir has a knowing look in his eyes.
I nodded my head, putting a smile on my face.]
