Vespera stated at the lips that were inching closer and suddenly recalled how they tasted. As if she were spellbound, her breathing became riratie. Her palms grew

All of a sudden, she grabbed his neck, got on her feet, and bit down hard on his neck she released him and snapped, “Dominic! will you keep it together? quit trying to seduce me!”
As she said that, she pushed him away and left the kitchen
All he wanted to do was tease her, but he never imagined she would get angry and bite him. He brushed his hand against his neck and looked at his palm. It was bleeding

She raced to the bathroom to splash her face with water. When she got in, she realized the water in the tub was left on Fortunately, the rose petals she had put in earlier had stopped the water from flowing through the tap.
Without wasting a second, she twisted the knob and shut it off. Another minute and the whole place would’ve been flooded.
Relief washed over ber, and a quiet sigh escaped her lips.
In order to hide from Dominic, she stayed in her room for a while. When she decided it was sate to come out, he had already left
It was midnight, but Vespera tossed and tumed in her bed, unable to fall asleep. The bed was hot, and it felt like she was in a sauna with the air steaming around
While she was in a daze, someone kissed her in her dreams. The kiss was sometimes rough and passionate, sometimes gentle and teasing. He kissed her all over with his soft lips, and with his slender fingers, he turned her into a wet mess.
The next morning, Vespera sat on her bed with one hand propped up on her head. Her expression was tense as she stared at the damp, crusted bedsheets.

At that, she got out of bed. She changed hier solled sheets and underwear and got ready for work
Soon after, she arrived at her office. She sat for a brief moment before heading to the pantry. While returning to her seat with a cup of coffee, she bumped into Dominic, who had just arrived
Dressed in a suit, he looked distant and cold, and was nothing like the cunning fox from the day before.
Too bad Vespera hadn’t suffered from short–term memory, When she saw him, her hands shook, and she almost spilled her coffee.
“Good morning, Mr. Reid,” she greeted him.
“Moning.” He nodded at her, then walked into his office

Gerard stood beside her and said, “I bet you didn’t know he was bitten by a cat on the neck yesterday when he went for a walk in the neighborhood,” The cat who bit Dominic was now speechless at what she had just heard.
A shout came from Dominic’s door, which had been lett slightly ajar. “Ms. cilidon, please come in for a while.”
“He might be asiding you to accompany him to the hospital for a rabies shot. Now gu,” Gerard sald in a low voice. Vespera was utterly speechless.
