Vespera was at a loss for words. She thought it would have been better if Eden kept her at arm’s length. Although she complained in her heart, she thought that it only benefited her if she had a good relationship with him.

“Mr. Locke, you’re too kind.” Vespera smiled politely.
“Why are you still calling me Mr. Locke? Just call me Eden.‘
When Dominic was about to intervene, he heard Vespera call out, “Eden.”
Vespera gritted her teeth, and the way she smiled looked like she was about to bite someone. Upon noticing that, Dominic was speechless. He found her to be adaptable.
“That sounds better. Vespera, promise me that when you have a boyfriend next time, you have to bring him to me. I’ll give him a gift.” Eden chuckled happily.
Vespera thought Dominic was insane upon hearing his words. Meanwhile, Dominic was at a loss for words.
It was 9:00 pm when they came out of the club, and Eden made Dominic hang out with him at his winery.
In response Dominic said, “I have to return to Halewick.”

“Who’s in Halewick? Why are you in such a hurry to go back? Listen to me, and stay for one night.” Then, Eden wrapped his arm around Dominic’s shoulders and leaned closer. “It’s a long night. I’ll arrange a romantic surprise for you two so that your relationship can improve.

“There’s no use in only confessing your love. If you’re not proactive enough, how can you make her fall for you?”
Dominic smiled but remained silent.
Vespera stood at the back and watched the two being close to each other. She wondered if Eden would force her to treat Dominic like they were close friends too.
No, she couldn’t accept such a thing! Why were the attacks getting stronger? The most important thing was how could two tall men be such a good match?
Dominic shrugged off Eden’s arm. “I’m not staying. Let’s hang out again next time.”
Seeing that Dominic was adamant about leaving Eden didn’t continue to insist. “Alright then. I’ll look for you when I go to Halewick next time.”
After that, he turned and gave Vespera a meaningful smile with a playful wink. “Vespera, you have to come with your boyfriend next time.”

Then, Dominic and Vespera got into the car. When they boarded the plane after going to the airport from the club, it was already almost midnight.

After boarding the plane, she didn’t have any other work to do. So, she sat on the chair at the back and closed her eyes to take a nap. She was exhausted.
“Ms. Gildon, do you want to eat anything?” Dominic asked.
As he didn’t receive any response, he turned and realized that Vespera had already fallen asleep on her seat.
He got up and grabbed a blanket before walking up to her and putting the blanket on her. When he was about to return to his place, his gaze landed on her pink lips.
