The production team only saw Chloe’s post the next day.
Oscar was as anxious as a cat on a hot tin roof. Since entering the base, he had pulled his hair no less than 328 times.
He thought to himself, “The show is set to air tomorrow, and now one of the female participants is unable to make it. Where am I supposed to find someone to replace her?
He initially thought about bringing in the seventh–ranked contestant, but contestants ranked seventh through twelfth had been signed by a company planning to create a new girl band. I was said that they were currently in secret training and couldn’t spare any time.
As for other female celebrities, inviting someone famous might be challenging as she could be unwilling to appear with a group of newcomers. On the other hand, bringing in an unknown woman would also require coordinating schedules in advance. “Who are you?”
The person’s mouth twitched before he grabbed Oscar and dragged him outside. “It’s the charming and popular Vivian! Vivian is here!”
“Who is Vivian? What does that have to do with me? I’m done trying Whatever happens, happens. If the heavens want to bring me down, so be it. There’s nothing I can do!”
The person chuckled and said, “It’s Vivian Zavala–Mr. Luther’s ex–girlfriend!”
“Mr. Luther’s ex–girlfriend… Vivian…” Oscar jolted and quickly turned around to ask, “Vivian? Vivian Zavala?!?
Gary beside him remained silent, but a woman replied with a hint of laughter, “Yes, it’s me, Mr. Pierce.”
When Oscar turned and saw Vivian, his eyes lit up with excitement.
“Vivian!” He beamed as he strode forward to greet her. “Tell me, are you here to discuss joining the show? If not, I’m not interested in listening.”
Vivian chuckled and reassured him, saying, “I figured you must be quite anxious right now. You were very kind to me when I was on the dating show before, so naturally, I wanted to return the favor!”
“That’s great!” Oscar was very pleased with Vivian. She really brought a lot of variety show charm to the screen, with very few scandals and almost no negative press. Most importantly, she was Darren’s ex–girlfriend. They had once been a highly popular couple, and their appearance on the same show would cause anticipation to reach unprecedented levels.
