Chapter 14 Dunstan’s Disagreement
He asked Maxwell to send the divorce agreement to Audrey this afternoon.
And she was so eager to report it to Dunstan!
Divorce? As expected, it was just another trick!
“What? If I didn’t know, you would hide it from me and tell me after it’s done?!”
Theodore did not retort.
He really thought so.
Seeing that he acquiesced, Dunstan was furious, his chest heaving. “You have to explain it clearly today!”
“Grandpa, as you see it, there’s nothing to explain.” Theodore turned his eyes away from the divorce agreement with an expressionless face.
“You! You!” Dunstan’s face turned flushed with anger, and he stood up with his cane, shouting angrily, “Kneel!”
Theodore remained unmoved.
Dunstan glared at him. “Did you not hear me or am I
unqualified to order you?!”

Theodore’s expression was frighteningly cold, but he did not argue with Dunstan. He straightened his back, bent his knees, and knelt.
However, Dunstan’s anger did not diminish in the slightest.
Watching the divorce papers scattered on the ground, he was so furious that even his breathing became rapid.
“No matter what you think, if I don’t agree, you can’t get a divorce! When Audrey comes back, talk to her and withdraw the divorce agreement!”
Dunstan slammed his cane hard on the ground, making a dull sound.
“I will not withdraw the divorce agreement.” Theodore stated every word clearly.
Dunstan’s face darkened. “Say it again?!”
“Grandpa, I don’t love Audrey. I didn’t love her two years ago, I don’t love her now, and I will never in the future.”
Theodore’s mind flashed back to the way Audrey stared at him and said divorce that morning, leaving him feeling inexplicably irritated.
Dunstan glared at him and asked sternly, “Who do you love then? Ava, the adopted daughter of the Rosewood family?”

Theodore’s eyes were stern. “What happened between Audrey and me has nothing to do with others.”
“Oh, it has nothing to do with others?! Then why did you want to divorce Audrey as soon as she came back? I think she was the one behind it!” Dunstan sneered.
“The Rosewood family really raised a good daughter. They want to gain profits through her and even trick the Ainsworth family! Theodore, even if you divorce Audrey, I will never agree to let a heartless woman like Ava marry into the Ainsworth family!”
“Grandpa, Ava is not that kind of person.”
“I may be old, but I am still bright. I can tell whether she’s good! Anyway, I am going to make this clear today. If you really dare to divorce Audrey for that woman, I will disown you!”
Theodore looked up at Dunstan and said, “I have decided on the divorce.”
Dunstan was so furious that his vision went dark, and he raised his cane, wishing he could strike Theodore to vent his anger.
But after all, Theodore was his most beloved and most promising grandson.
Dunstan recognized Theodore’s lingering resentment over the forced marriage two years ago, so he didn’t hit Theodore, raising the cane halfway but taking it back.
“Fine. Since you insist on getting a divorce, I can’t l
