Fear gripped ber, but she still tried to offer a compromise. “I overstepped this time by keeping you from Gloria. I can make it up to you. I can do anything in her place. I’ll do whatever you want.
“Just don’t kill me, alay? Calm down and p–put the knife down. We can talk this through.”
“You?” Neil chuckled, his voice laced with scum. “You really think too highly of yourselt just because we had a little history, and let you off twice, you actually Think you’re special enough to compare to Coria,”
Nell leaned in clear, his lips brushing against Aether’s ear as he gritted his teeth. “Aether, let me tell you something. To me, you’re not even worth a single strand o Giona’s hair”
