Chapter 30 Wesley’s Improper Thoughts
Aether was caught off guard and blankly replied, “Um, a friend.”
Zachary felt stified, and his chest was heavy with frostration However, he had nowhere to vent.
Teah, they were friends. He was nice to Aether, and Arther was nice to others. So, why was heupset?
They were just friends, not lovers. What right did he have to expect Aether to care about only him? Aether didn’t belong to him.
“Forget it. I feel as if I’m talking to a wall,” Zachary muttered and continued to apply the medicine.
Once he was done, he placed the bandages in front of Aether. “All set.”
Then, he tumed and went into the bathroom.
Aether struggled to wrap the bandages around herself. She went from her back to her chest and finally tied a small bow in the front
By the time Zachary finished his cold shower and came out, Aether was already asleep.
The bedside lamp cast a warm glow over her face, giving her a serene look
Zachary noticed how fair her skin was. As he got cover, he noticed her long eyelashes, her small, delicate features, and the slight roundness of her cheek
How could a man look this cute?
He poked Aether’s cheek while staring at her small, petal–ll lips. Before his mind could stop him, he leaned in and kissed her.
The kiss sent a jolt of electricity through him and set his whole body on fire.
Even his heartbeat sped up. “Damn it,” he internally cursed.
Zachary forced himself to snap out of it and quickly pulled away.
Aether was a man. How could he be having thoughts like this about another man?
He’d been with so many women before. If he really ended up switching sides, he’d never be able to face anyone again.
He shoved the forbidden thoughts out of his head and lay down on his bed. He had his hack facing Aether as he closed his eyes
Yet, sleep wouldn’t come. Images of Aether kept flashing in his mind, along with thoughts of what he could do to Aether.
How would that even work when they were both men? The fact that he was actually imagining it made Zachary break into a cold sweat.
Desperate to distract himself, he started counting shrep
However, the more he counted, the more awake he felt.
Eventually, his head grew heavy with exhaustion, and he finally drifted off.
In his dream, he ldssed Aether, and they did the most intimate things.
The scene then shifted to Wesley seeing them and spreading the news across the school.
Now, everyone law Zachary liked men
In an instant, Zachary jolted awake in horror
It was already attemoon, and ether was nowhere to be seen.
30 muutes earlier, after lunch, Aether had returned to the dorm and saw Zachary silll asleep. Not wanting to disturb him, she decided to head out for a walk
Just as she stepped outside, she got a message from Wesley
“Did you have lunch?”
“Weal What’s up?”
“Didn’t you say you wanted to hung our? Come to my coom
Ino real plans, Aether figured she might as well go to Wesley’s room for a bit. So, she took the elevator to the fourth floor and knocked on Wesley’s
Since she had no
room door
Automatically, the door opened.
Acther stepped inside and looked at Wesley, who was playing on bus phone.
She sat on the small couch text to him, and Wesley peached out his hand,
Despite her condusion, Aether placed her own hand on top of his
Wesley was startled and immediately thang Arther’s hand away. “You scheming little…. What the hell are you trying to do?”
Arther didn’t know what to say, “You were the one who reached out tint,” Aether muttered, feeling wronged
71 was asking for your phone, not your fund. “
“My phone?” pether was still confused but handed her phone to him nonetheless.
Wesley unlocked her phone, surprised to find that she hadn’t even set a passwood, Dud Aether not care about privacy?
still, he didn’t snoop and instead went straight to the App Store to download a game.
Chapter 30 Weileva improper Thought
“Have you played Legends of Valor?” he asked.
“What’s that?”
“You said you wanted to play. What else would it be?
“Is that a game?”
Wesley gave Aether a look of disdain. “You don’t even know this, and you want to hang out with me?”
“Not every guy likes video games,” Aether answered.
“Yeah? But if you don’t even know this, are you really guy?”
Aether felt a little guilty and didn’t dare answers. She wasn’t good at lying, and she didn’t like to lie either.
Once Wesley finished installing the game, he handed her phone back to her. “Go through the tutorial. Once you get the hang of it, we’ll play a match.”
So. Aether followed the tutorial instructions and got a rough idea of the gameplay,
Wesley then invited her to team up
Aether picked a pretty fox character, but Wesley advised, “Beginners should start with support,”
“Which one is support?”
Wesley tapped on a character called MiaQuinn Aether looked at the 3D model and beamed. “She’s so cute! And her voice is adorable too.”
“You like men, don’t you? Why are you simping over a female character?””
“Liking men doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate women”
“Are you bisexual?TM
When Aether didn’t answer, Wesley warned her again. “I’m warning you. If you dare set your sights on Gloria, I’ll end you. I don’t go easy on my love rivals.” He
sounded more serious this time.
Aether stayed silent. Wesley had repeated this warming so many times that she practically had it memorized now.
Aether took a moment to look around the game map, admiring the scenery. Then, she ran over to touch a small jungle creature, pressing the attack button while asking “What kind of animal is this? It keeps following aw, but then it stops after a while.”
“That’s a jungle creep. That area is for junglers early game. Stop wandering around and come to the top lane.”
“Which one is the top lane?
“Look at the mini–mag, at the top left. Follow me, and don’t run off.”
With that, Aether headed toward the top left. However, she walked straight into the enemy turret and instantly died.
“Why is my screen black?” she asked
Wesley didn’t answer. Instead, after waiting for five seconds for Aether to respawn, he recalled to base. He then approached her character and uttered, “From now on, stay with me. No running on.”
So, Aether followed Wesley’s character–Marshall Perry–to the top lane.
Wesley then taught her some button functions and basic gameplay mechanics.
Aether managed to understand a little and did exactly as he said, but later, during a team fight, when Aether could have escaped, she stepped in front of Marshall despite her low health bar arid zero mana
Wesley was speechless and frustrated. “Are you insane? You had no health and mana, why did you jump in?”
“I was protecting you is that wrong?” Aether said, feeling a little hurt.
Upon hearing this, Wesley froze in place and forgot to fight. In the end, despite having already used his second skill to escape, he simply stood there in a daze and ⠀⠀ got killed.
At that moment, he suddenly membered the time Acther had taken a bullet for him.
Just like in the game, she was weak and useless while he was at full health, more than capable of holding his ow
He didn’t need herprotection And yet, she still threw herself in the way. It was wind and kind of dut

Arther liked him?
This scheming little freak! He had been targeting him all along! Did Arther get close to Cilor just to get him?
“Hey, I don’t like men! You better keep those disgusting thoughts to yourself!” Wesley said, clearly flustered.
Wesley’s Improper Thoughts
Aether was confused at first, but realization quickly dawned on her.
