Considering that Zachary had been betrayed by his own friends before, it was only natural for him to be cautious. She couldn’t really blame him. So, she changed the subject. “We’re 1 get going now. Thanks for walking ine out!”
Aether planned to look for a part–time job outside of school. But while passing by the cafeteria, she saw a hiring notice. The job was simple. All she’d have to do was serve food to students during mealtimes, and the rest of the day was hers. The hours didn’t clash with her classes either. It seemed like the perfect tit.
When she stepped into the cafeteria, a group of older staff looked toward her. She introduced herself right away. “Hi, I’m Aether Blair. I saw the job posting outside. I’m lærer to apply for it.”

After serving that student, the next in line stepped up and mocked her, “Oh look, if it isn’t Aether. Didn’t you get your ass handed to you last time? What’s this? Are you a lunch server now? That ugly uniform really suits you Class F’s little servant is here to serve the masses.”
However, Aether just smiled. “What would you like to eat?”
Her calm response only limitated the guy further. It made him feel as though he had thrown a punch and ended up hitting nothing but air. “Are you deal? I j insulted you!”
