Chosen Luna Chapter 94

Seraphine’s Betrayal

The battlefield was a symphony of chaos and blood. Shadow wolves and rogues howled as they pushed deeper into Crimson Fang’s territory, their ferocity unrelenting. Tobias stood at the heart of the assault, his dark aura pulsing with every command.

But beneath the surface of his carefully coordinated attack, the seeds of discord were taking root.

Seraphine moved through the throng of warriors, her crescent mark glowing faintly as she whispered orders to Tobias’s lieutenants. “Pull your forces back,” she said, her tone firm but deceptively calm. “Reposition at the eastern ridge. We’re exposed here.”

The lieutenants hesitated, their confusion evident. “The eastern ridge? Tobias didn’t—”

“Are you questioning your Luna?” Seraphine snapped, her eyes flashing with dangerous intent. “Move your forces now.”

The lieutenants exchanged uneasy glances before obeying. The units began to withdraw, leaving gaping holes in Tobias’s front lines. The rogues, sensing the shift, hesitated in their assault, their confidence waning as their formation unraveled.

On the ridge above, Isla stood beside Draven, her silver hair gleaming in the dim light of the moon. Her sharp eyes scanned the battlefield, catching the subtle retreat. “Something’s happening,” she said, her voice tight with suspicion.

Draven’s amber gaze followed hers, narrowing. “She’s turning on him,” he growled. “Seraphine’s playing her hand.”

Tobias’s rage erupted like a storm when he realized the betrayal. His black aura surged as he stormed through the battlefield, his voice a thunderclap. “Seraphine!” he bellowed, his words slicing through the chaos.

She stood at the edge of the battlefield, calm and poised amidst the chaos she had orchestrated. When Tobias reached her, his eyes blazed with fury. “What are you doing?” he demanded, his dark magic crackling around him.

Seraphine turned to face him, her crescent mark glowing brighter now, her expression cold and unyielding. “I’m taking what’s mine,” she said, her voice low but laced with steel.

Tobias’s power surged, his rage manifesting in tendrils of dark energy that coiled around him like serpents. “You dare turn against me? After everything I’ve given you?”

Seraphine’s laugh was soft, cutting through the din of the battle. “Given me?” she said mockingly. “You gave me nothing, Tobias. Everything I have, I took. And now, I’ll take this army too.”

With a roar of fury, Tobias lunged at her, his claws extended. Seraphine’s crescent mark flared as she met him head-on, their clash sending shockwaves across the battlefield. The ground trembled beneath their power, and warriors on both sides paused, stunned by the display.

From the ridge, Isla’s breath caught as she watched the deadly confrontation unfold. “She’s tearing his army apart from the inside,” she whispered.

Draven’s growl was low and ominous. “Then it’s time we finish this.”
