Chosen Luna Chapter 377

Chosen Luna Chapter 377

Explosive Confrontation

Lyra and Adrian faced each other in the moonlit forest, the tension between them palpable. The artifact in her hands pulsed violently, feeding off her swirling emotions. Adrian’s eyes softened, but his stance remained firm.

“Lyra, you don’t have to fight me,” he said, his voice calm but filled with urgency.

Her hands trembled, the artifact’s energy crackling around her like lightning. “You don’t understand,” she whispered, her voice cracking. “I have to protect Eryon… I have to stop all of this.”

Adrian stepped closer, his movements deliberate and slow. “And you think Seraphine is the answer? She’s using you, Lyra. Can’t you see that?”

The artifact’s whispers grew louder, urging her to strike. Lyra’s wolf stirred beneath her skin, clawing at her control. “You lied to me,” she growled, her silver eyes glowing. “You betrayed me. How can I trust you now?”

Adrian’s expression twisted with frustration. “I never betrayed you!” he shouted, his voice echoing through the trees. “Everything I’ve done was to protect you and Eryon. Even if it meant going against my father, against everything I’ve known!”

Lyra hesitated, the energy in her hands faltering for a moment. The raw emotion in Adrian’s voice tugged at something deep within her. But the artifact’s power surged again, drowning out her doubts with its whispers of vengeance.

She lashed out, releasing a burst of energy that shook the forest. Adrian dodged narrowly, the blast carving a deep scar into the ground where he had stood.

“Lyra, stop!” he shouted, his voice breaking. “This isn’t you!”

But she wasn’t listening. The artifact’s whispers pushed her forward, its power coursing through her veins. She struck again, the energy wild and uncontrolled. Adrian deflected her attacks, his movements precise but defensive.

“You don’t want to do this,” he said, his voice strained. “I won’t fight you, Lyra.”

“Then you’ll die,” she snarled, her wolf’s growl threading through her words.

Adrian suddenly surged forward, catching her off guard. He disarmed her with a single, fluid motion, his hands gripping her wrists firmly but not harshly.

“I never stopped fighting for you,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

The artifact’s glow dimmed slightly as Lyra froze, her breath catching. Adrian’s crimson eyes held hers, unflinching and filled with something she couldn’t name.

“Let me help you,” he said softly.

For a moment, the forest was silent, the artifact’s whispers fading to a low hum. Lyra’s resolve wavered, the lines between ally and enemy blurring.
