Chosen Luna Chapter 218

Rallying Allies

The following morning, the packhouse was alive with purpose. Crimson Fang’s warriors gathered in the central hall, their faces grim but resolute as they awaited Isla and Draven’s orders. The air was heavy with the scent of tension and anticipation.

Isla stepped forward, her silver eyes scanning the room, each wolf meeting her gaze with unwavering loyalty. The weight of her grief and fury pressed on her, but she stood tall. “My father and Eira have taken my children,” she said, her voice steady despite the emotion threatening to crack it. “They’ve gone to lengths we couldn’t have imagined. But they underestimated us. We’ll find them, and we’ll bring the twins home.”

Draven moved to her side, his towering frame commanding attention. His amber gaze swept over the gathered wolves, his voice sharp and powerful. “This isn’t just about Isla and me,” he growled. “This is about our pack. Our future. They stole what’s ours, and we will not let them win.”

A low, resonant howl rose from the warriors, their collective resolve like steel. Isla’s heart swelled with gratitude and determination as she locked eyes with Draven, silently thanking him for his strength.

After the meeting, Isla found Alaric lingering near the back. His golden eyes met hers, and he gave a subtle nod before approaching her in private.

“You need to unlock your full potential,” he said, his tone earnest. “If we’re going to face Eira and your father, you’ll need more than anger. You’ll need control.”

Before Isla could respond, Draven entered the room, his presence filling the space like a storm cloud. His gaze fixed on Alaric, suspicion sparking in his amber eyes. “And you think you’re the one to teach her?”

Alaric turned, his expression calm but firm. “I know her father’s power. I’ve seen what Eira can do. If anyone can help Isla fight them, it’s me.”

Draven’s claws flexed at his sides, his voice low and dangerous. “You were with him for years. How do we know you’re not leading us into a trap?”

Isla stepped between them, her silver gaze fierce. “Enough,” she snapped, her tone leaving no room for argument. “I need both of you. We don’t have time for this.”

Draven’s jaw tightened, but he gave a reluctant nod. “Fine. But I’ll be watching him.”

Alaric met his glare with quiet resolve. “You should.”

As the tension lingered, Isla exhaled slowly, her mind already racing with plans. If they were going to face the enemies who had taken everything from her, she needed every advantage she could muster.
