I checked my phone and saw tons of messages from Ivy. I had forgotten to call her to tell her that I would be absent. She should have come to visit me, but for her not to be here, it means she was held down by work
I spent the rest of the day watching anime with granny and eating. Then I went to pick Moon up from school.
“Mommy” He called on the drive home.
“yes love.” I responded.
“Tomorrow we would be having a father’s meeting, where all fathers would play fun games with other men and their kids” He explained:

I had a bad feeling who this might be.

My fear was coming true, it seemed like I hadn’t put more effort in separating them.
“And why did you pick him? Terry would definitely map out time for you.” I said.
“Well, uncle Terry is cool. But this uncle is much cooler.” He said.

1 knew he was not happy, but it was for the best and I couldn’t risk it.
“Don’t be angry at mummy” I said before ticking him with one hand while driving

We soon reached home and I made lunch, which we had before sending Moon off to play. I called Ivy.
“Where have you been! The workload was too much for me. She whined.
“I went on a date. Sorry for not informing you.”
“A date! You’ll tell me everything in full when we meet. Get ready tomorrow, we’re expecting a shareholder” she said,
“Alright” I said before the call was disconnerted.
Some companies started buying shares and investing in my company, I did the same for theirs too. Terry was one of the biggest shareholders in my Company
The new day. I prepared for work. Heft the house after sending Moon tonschool and prepared breakfast for grandma.
I drove to the company, greeted by the employees to which I answered enthusiastically.

“Good. Lead them to the meeting room, 171 be there soon.” I replied.
“They’re here Ivy.” I said to her, and we walked to the conference
The door opened, and I saw the last person I had least expected, Quinn. He sat with Fleur at his right hand. They y faced us upon our arrival. He raised a brow on seeing Ivy, who kept a straight face as she faced them.
I knew he was probably thinking whether she was still the same girl he had met, because she was acting coldly.
So you’re the shareholder” I said, looking at him while trying to figure out what was going on in his mind this time around.
“Yes, I brought the document with me.” He said, signalling to Fleur who brought out the document.
“I would like you to discuss that with my assistant, while I speak with your boss.” I said, facing Fleur.
He took the document to Ivy, who was giving him strange looks which he returned.
“I don’t know what you’re planning this time Quinn, but in all you do make sure to stay professional and do not cross the limits.” I warned in a low
He didn’t say anything to me as they rounded up and left. I wondered what Quinn was up to again
“I don’t like his assistant. He looks pretentious.” Ivy scoffed.
“You mean Fleur! He’s anything but pretentious.” I said to her.
After work, we went home together, and she ate dinner at my place before going home. As my body touched the bed, I went into a deep sleep
I was awoken by noises coming from downstairs. I checked the time, it was past noon, I gasped. Today was a weekend, so I slept to my satisfaction, but waking up at noon was crazy.
I wanted to rush down. But to avoid being called a bird, I looked into the mirror and arranged my hair properly. I quickly brushed my teeth and hurried down

saw Terry and Claire carrying the barbecue grill outside and Moon was hovering around them. I followed them outside and saw that they had spread mats and set drinks on the floor.
“Hola guys. I called out, announcing my presence”
“Good afternoon Granny I greeted.
“Afternoon birdie.” She replied, chuckling.
“Mommy!” Moon exclaimed, running into my arms.
“Look who’s awake” Terry grinned
“Are we having a picnic?” I asked.
“More like grill day” Terry said.
I watched Claire setting the fire in the barbecue grill, and Moon hovered around her. Now that I was alone with grandma and Terry. I wondered if I should tell them about the intruder incident.
I decided to tell them as I had been hiding things from them.
“Granny, Terry” I called
“I have some things to tell you” I said, with a serious expression.
“Go on” They chorused at

“The intruder incident, and the campering of the food I made for the conference was planned by Veronica Lexposed.
I paused for a moment, seeing the shock and anger in their faces.
“She told me herself at my restaurant. The day she came to see you Terry, it turns out she was only buying time for the intruder to escape”
