Conrad’s heart was aflame with fury, but his face was icy and hard. “I have no interest in their affairs, but if you want to match me up with some random woman, I can grant you your wish.”
Wilhelmina cringed and said nothing more. Now that the b*tch is with Christopher, I bet Conrad’s going to kick her out of this relationship game.
They went home after the meal, and Angela took a shower. Since only she and Lana were around, she didn’t really care what she was wearing. Angela changed into a negligee and came out. Just then, she saw a slender figure standing in the lounge, much to her shock. “M–Mr. Heathcliff, what brings you here?”
Conrad’s heart was still burning with rage, and he couldn’t put it out, so he came right to the source to deal with it. He approached Angela, his shadow looming over her. “I know what you’re up to.”
The lady moved backward until she was backed into the wall. The air around him almost suffocated her, his strength weighing down on her shoulder. “W–What do you mean?” I’m just an innocent girl. I am not up to anything.
Conrad pressed his hands against the wall, keeping her pinned down, and he stared at her darkly. The negligee was almost see–through, and the pink of its fabric made her skin glimmer like snow. She went commando with this outfit. He was about one head taller than her, so he could see everything when looking down.
A nice scent wafted from her hair, and it riled him up, flaring something within his soul. Dammit. The realization of his getting turned on only made him more frustrated. Did she know I was coming, so she wore the negligee to seduce me? “You’re a temptress, alright.”
Angela had no idea what he was talking about, and she looked at him with confusion and fear. “I didn’t do anything, I swear.”
She didn’t have to do anything. Just existing alone was enough to stoke Conrad’s flame of desire. He had never desired any woman before, but now he couldn’t hold back his lust. It was hammering away at his mind hard and fast. He pulled his collar open and approached the fridge, whipping out a bottle of water and glugging half of it down to calm himself.
Angela slowly sidled across the wall, trying to escape to her room, but he held her before she could get into her room. “L–Let me go.” She tried to break free, and while she was struggling, her strap slipped down her shoulder.
The sight of her shoulder stoked the man’s flame even more, and it burned up his mind, swelling within his soul, threatening to burst forth and burn everything down, He opened up the bottle of water and drank everything.

blanket over herself. He saw that again. She wanted to cry, and tears glistened in her eyes. “Can you leave?”
Conrad gulped and darted ahead, pinning her down.
Her eyes went wide out of shock, and she stared at him in panic. “W–What do you want?”
He pushed his face against hers, well, almost against hers, and she felt his scalding hot breath spreading across her face, burning her up.
“This is what you wanted, isn’t it?”
Angela had no idea what in God’s name he was talking about. He had been acting weird since he came in. “I just wanted to sleep.”
“With whom?” Dark light glinted in his eyes, and his voice was raspy as if his throat was burned.
What? The woman froze upon hearing that. It was then she noticed something was off.
