Chapter 5
“Firstly, I didn’t come to steal the marriage, I came to congratulate Rhys on his wedding. Additionally, I also came to break up.”
“I have always been a person who does things with a clear beginning and end. Since I have decided
to break up, I will naturally make it clear instead of trying to deceive or deceive…”
I looked at Rhys, my eyes determined to continue speaking, “Flirting with others on one hand, being unclear. On the other hand, being tolerant, understanding, and righteous towards the you love.”

Rhys blushed and cast a shame–filled glance around the room as I spoke about him.
Seeing everyone staring at him with strange eyes, he immediately felt embarrassed and rushed up
quickly.
Covering my mouth, Rhys was furious and gritted his teeth as he sternly reprimanded, “What on earth do you want to do? Do you want to embarrass me in front of all our relatives and friends?”
“What do you have to say that you can’t say later?”
“Why did you have to make it so embarrassing?”
I broke free from his hand and sneered, “Go back? Can we still go back?”
stood there.
Rhys stood there.
After several seconds passed, he slowly came back to his senses, his eyes filled with panic. “You, are you serious?”
“When it comes to relationships, I have always been serious and never two–timed.”
The wedding scene was silent.
Everyone stared at Rhys in astonishment.
Especially Kaitlin’s relatives, they approached Rhys and questioned him about what it meant to “have one’s feet in two boats” and what was the deal with this ex–girlfriend of mine?
They always felt that Rhys was a perfect gentleman, willing to make such a great sacrifice to fulfill
Kaitlin’s last wish.
Little did they know, his true face was like this.
Rhys was deeply embroiled in public opinion, opening his mouth but not knowing how to explain.
quietly left, not wanting to disturb anyone.

But when I reached the hotel entrance, Rhys managed to catchup with me.
He grabbed my arm and exclaimed angrily, “Bridget, you better explain to me clearly, what do you mean by breaking up?”
“Why did you take it upon yourself to break up?” “Did I agree to break up?
Rhys’s fingers were like steel, gripping my bones so tightly they were about to crack.
His eyes were bloodshot, like a wild beast, and he was rude and unreasonable.
I shook a few times but couldn’t break free.
In a fit of anger, she opened her mouth and bit his hand.
He felt pain and looked at the bite marks on the back of his hand, standing there in a daze, unsure of
what to do.
I glared at him in anger, “Rhys, I wasn’t someone you could summon and dismiss at will. If you
continue to pester me, I will call the police!”
Seeing my resolute attitude, Rhys’s pupils contracted and his eyes were filled with panic.
In order to prevent him from causing trouble again, I said coldly, “Furthermore, you were already a married man, so don’t lay a hand on me.”
“Otherwise, can you justify yourself to the bride you have loved for over a decade?” Rhys suddenly recalled the words he had once said, a hint of guilt flickering in his eyes, speaking without confidence, “Where did you hear this from?”
After a moment of thought, he furrowed his brow and speculated, “Could it be that you overheard- when I was talking on the phone with Jordan yesterday?”
If I dared to do it, I would dare to admit it.
Yesterday, I waited for you all day at the courthouse entrance, but you didn’t show up, so I had to go home. Luckily, the heavens had eyes and I heard the truth. Otherwise, I would still be in the dark
until now.
Rhys felt so ashamed that he couldn’t bear to look at himself.
Lower your head.
He clenched his fist, his face full of remorse. After a moment of silence, he spoke in a low voice, “Bridget, I’m sorry,”
“On the day of great joy, you left your bride and ran out to chase after another woman. You should go back and apologize
to your bride; she is still waiting for you.”
