Chapter 31
ISABEL’S POINT OF VIEW
“Let us all rise in honour of our Luna, Isabel!” the priest announced, and a round of applause echoed in the room. For a moment, I wondered if these were the same people who stared at me with hatred when my sister laid false allegations against me. It’s funny how people change within a twinkle of an eye.
“In honour of the Lunas before you and your fated mates, I crown you Luna of the Moon Stone Pack,” he proclaimed, placing the silver tiara on my hair.
An unknown feeling crept into my heart as I stood there with a smile on my face. I’d never felt stronger, more hopeful, and happy. I am now Luna of the Moon Stone Pack, and there was nothing anyone could do to stop me, not even the bullies who felt threatened by me..
The party continued into the night, and a smile graced my lips. I’m so happy for you, Luna,” Gina exclaimed excitedly as Evelyn made her way toward me.
“Well, congratulations, sister,” she sneered sarcastically.
“Thank you, Evelyn. I did not expect any of you to be in attendance, considering the fact that you all find it pleasing to humiliate me,” I responded, and she looked taken aback by my choice of words.
“Well, even I did not expect you to turn out as Luna, and look at you enjoying the position I’ve only dreamed of having. How interesting,” she mocked, and Gina stared at us in shock.
“This celebration of yours will only last for some time, you will meet your doom sooner or later,” she whispered with an evil smile playing on her lips.
I maintained the same smile as I gave her a deep stare, which made her shiver a bit. Anyone who saw us from afar might have felt we were having a normal conversation like sisters would. But no, she is here to threaten me and take my place.
“You only broke the prince’s curse, Isabel. You are still the weak and pathetic Luna who can’t even access her wolf. Rubbish!” she spat angrily, and I smirked.
“I hope you burn in jealousy, that is my wish for you, Evelyn. I don’t care how you see it or feel about it. I’m Luna, and I always will be,” I retorted angrily as she tried to attack me. Father was quick to grab her by the hand.
“Congratulations, Isabel,” he congratulated me, and I just stared at him with mixed emotions. He noticed I was not going to acknowledge his greeting, so he pulled Evelyn along as they left the party without causing a scene, as they would on a normal day.
“I can’t believe you let them treat you like that for all this while, Luna. You deserve better than this,” Gina protested, and I just stared at her calmly.
We were still at the party, and I knew she felt bad about the way Evelyn spoke to me. “Isn’t that your best friend, Yuna?” she inquired, and I saw Yuna making her way toward me with a smile on her face.
“Congratulations, Isabel. I always knew you had it in you to be Luna one day. Look at your dreams coming to pass,” she smilled, and I smiled back at her.
“Thank you. I thought we would get to walk down this lane together. You made promises you couldn’t keep, Yuna. Trust me, I’ve moved on and hold no grudges against you,” I replied, and her eyes clouded with hurt.
I have just one piece of advice for you, please be careful. Stay away from your family members, if it’s the last thing you do,” she advised, and chills ran down my spine.
We watched her walk away, and I was done for the night. “It’s your party, Luna. Shouldn’t you stay here for some time?” Gina

questioned, and I shook my head
Td rather go to bed now. I’ve had enough of their madness, I declared, and she nodded as we walked out together.
We got to the room, and Gina bowed before bidding me goodnight I got out of my dress for the night and freshened up. My eyes met the love bites from the previous night, a reminder of how the night went. It made a smile appear on my face.
Changing into a night dress that complemented my skin, I returned to the room and raised my eyebrows when I saw the two brothers lying on my bed.
I thought the both of you were downstairs with the guests, I remarked, and Hayden chuckled, while Hector had an unusual
look in his eyes.
“The party was thrown in honour of you, our wife and Luna. But now that you have decided to call it a night, it’s only normal that we join you,” he replied.
“How do you feel now?” Hayden asked with concern.
“Better than this morning. It almost felt like I couldn’t walk,” I replied, and they both chuckled
“You’re stronger than you think, Rose. Not everyone can handle two guys,” Hayden complimented, kissing my shoulders.
“Rose?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“It’s a nickname for our Luna,” Hector told me, and I blushed.
With how red you get any time we compliment you, we might as well call you ‘fresh tomatoes,” he joked, and I chuckled, which only made us burst out laughing.
They left me for a while before joining me in bed. I was too tired for anything sexual, so we slept peacefully in each other’s
company.
The news of the curse being lifted was everywhere.
The princes were free from the curse that instilled nothing but fear in everyone’s hearts. But with the curse lifted, everyone was curious about the outcome. What happens to me?
“You’ve been quiet since,” Gina observed as she dropped some fresh fruits on my
“It’s nothing,” I responded as I placed the books on the table.
“I’m bored,” I muttered, and she smiled.
“Let’s take a stroll, then,” Gina suggested. We walked out of the mansion, and as we passed through the yard, my ears made a funny sound, and that made me stop on my tracks.
“Are you okay, Luna?” she asked gently, and I nodded.
“I’m fine,” I murmured, the I began to hear the distant beating of hearts, which made me frown.
Then came the rush of blood in my veins. I walked as fast as my legs could carry me, heading into the woods.
“Luna!”
“Luna!” I heard Gina call from a distance as I moved at a speed I never knew I had.
I felt restless and hungry, a scream left my lips, followed by a loud cry. I fell to the ground as I felt my bones break in an unusual manner.

Then, nothing. I felt nothing. When I looked at my hands, they were no longer human but those of a wolf, a white wolf.
I froze, my eyes moving over to Gina, who stared at me in shock trying to catch her breath.
“Go away!” I commanded telepathically without speaking, and she obeyed, taking a few steps back before running toward
the pack house.

As if being different from the start wasn’t enough, I had just turned into something more mysterious, the first of my kind in the whole of the Moon Stone Pack: a white wolf.
“Isabel,” I heard their voices in my head and froze.
“Hayden!”
“Hector,” I called out as I sensed them coming close. They were worried about me. I could now feel their every emotion from a distance.
They rush into the woods, and I could see the shock in their eyes, even in my wolf form.
“You accessed your wolf?” Hayden asked in surprise, while Hector drew in my scent, circling around me.
“That’s not the issue. I’m a white wolf,” I said in horror, and an uncomfortable silence filled the air.
We stayed at the waterfall after we shifted. We got one of the omegas to bring us new clothes. I moved into Hector’s arms while Hayden went to get the clothes.–
“You’re still worried, I can feel it, Isabel. You should calm down. Maybe talking to Savannah might help,” Hayden suggested, and I nodded.
Gina rushed over to me as soon as we entered the house. “I was so worried about you, Luna,” she cried as I opened my arms, allowing her to come in.
She burst into tears in my embrace, and I smiled. “We need to see Savannah,” I mentioned as we walked toward my room.
“Is it about the colour of your wolf?” she asked calmly.
“Apart from the fact that I don’t know the first thing about being a werewolf, the colour of my wolf might just be an even bigger problem,” I acknowledged, and she nodded in understanding.
HAYDEN’S POINT OF VIEW
“She gained access to her wolf, Aunt. Isn’t that what you always wanted? I thought you hated the fact that she didn’t have a wolf,” I stated calmly, watching as Aunt Lucia’s face revealed her shock.
“I don’t know what to say… how is it even possible?” she murmured before catching herself.
“What do you mean by that, Aunt?” Hector questioned, narrowing his eyes as she quickly composed herself.
“I didn’t mean it that way,” she replied, rubbing her forehead. “I’m just… shocked”
“We found out about our sister, Savannah,” I revealed, and her expression froze.
“Savannah? Your sister died years ago. What nonsense are you talking about, son?” she asked, startled.
“There’s no need to pretend, Aunt. We know everything, the fact that Father hated her powers, thought she was cursed, and wanted her completely isolated from the pack. She’s one of us and doesn’t deserve to be shunned,” I declared firmly, and she turned her gaze away.
“So, what do you expect us to do? Tell the rest of the pack? That your sister never actually died? That she’s immortal or

something?” she snapped.
“The girl can’t die or find a mate.”
“You’ve all seen how Isabel’s have been treated by the pack because of the curse… she trailed off.
“Savannah is bold enough to protect herself. She’s a seer. the pack needs her, Hector added, frustration flashing across Aunt Lucia’s face.
“You both rule the pack, do whatever you want,” she muttered bitterly, storming out of the room in anger and I looked at my brother in shock as we mirrored the same expression,
