Chapter 2
“What’s your name?” the blue eyed guy asked, as they walked closer to where I stood, and my heart skipped a beat.
Isabel I whispered, and they hummed.
The grey eyed guy stretched his hand forward and he introduced himself, “I’m Hayden, and this is my brother Hector,” he explained, pointing to the blue eyed guy at his side which I assumed should be his brother. They looked so much alike, that I can only differentiate them by the colour of their eyes.
I stared at the two handsome guys, trying to make sense of everything they had just told me. My mind felt like a tangled mess. Are they serious? I wondered, feeling my heart race.
“But this can’t be,” I whispered, almost too afraid to say it out loud. My voice shaked in disbelief.
“Why not?” Hayden asked, curious. He seemed genuinely interested in my response, but Hector just looked bored, like he wanted this to be over. It made me feel small and uneasy, like my feelings didn’t matter.
“You haven’t answered his question,” Hector said, breaking the silence with his deep velvety tone, which made me flinch a httle.
“I think you guys are mistaken. I don’t understand how one person can have two mates. I muttered, my voice shaking. My head was spinning, and I felt like I could collapse any moment.
We can sense it. I believe you can sense it too, Hector added. His words made me feel even more trapped, I couldn’t meet their eyes, the intensity was too much. And I could feel my sisters watching me with hatred in their eyes.
“She’s right. How does a wolfless girl with a curse manage to catch two hot guys at the same time?” Evelyn sneered, stepping closer. Her words were like a slap in the face. My chest ached with pain.
“Go ahead, Isabel. Don’t you think they deserve to know your sa little story about being cursed and not having a wolf?” Amelia snickered, and Evelyn smirked…
What happens when you eventually die? You’re weak, and we all know you don’t have much time left, Evelyn added, and it felt like my heart was shattering into a million pieces. Hearing them say this in front of my potential mates was humiliating and painful.
They walked closer to where I stood, and were about to push me with their body, but before I could react, Hayden stepped in front of me, looking angry at them. That’s enough,” he declared firmly, “You have no right to speak to her like that.”
Hector stood beside Hayden, with a serious and intimidating expression on his face. “You’re out of line. Get lost.” Amelia and Evelyn were shocked. “What? But she is…?” Amelia stammered, but Hayden interrupted her.
“I said, GET LOST, Hayden roared, a powerful aura emanating from him
Amelia and Evelyn trembled with fear, finally, they exchanged glances at each other before turning and walking away
I looked up at Hayden and Hector, who are they? Why are their auras so strong and special?
“Thank you,” I whispered.
Hayden looked at me with a serious expression, “Always stand up for yourself, we are not going to be here to fight for you everytime,” and I nodded as everywhere suddenly became silent,
“Are you okay? Who are those two to you?” Hector asked, breaking the silence.
“My sisters, Amelia and Evelyn,” I replied, trying to keep my voice steady. It was hard to act calm when I felt like I was falling

“Your sisters? Your real sisters? And they treat you like that?” Hayden asked, frowning. His concerns warmed my heart a little.
“She lets them treat her like that. Otherwise, she would have put them in their place,” Hector added, looking at me with disappointment. His words hurt because they were partially true. Maybe I should have truly stood up for myself, but it was hard when I felt so alone.
“Here’s the box, sir,” a guy said, handing a box to Hayden. I noticed the royal seal on the box and tried not to stare. It was clear they were royalty, and I didn’t want to seem too nosy,
“I have classes, and I need to go,” I said, wanting to escape the awkwardness and confusion.
Hayden gently grabbed my hand. “We need to see you before our classes start,” he said, his touch was warm and reassuring. I nodded, feeling a butterfly in my chest.
As I walked toward my classroom, I heard someone call my name excitedly.
“Isabell”
“Isabel….”
“I heard everything,” my best friend Yuna said, rushing up to me. I rubbed my forehead.
“What exactly did you hear? Why are you shouting?” I asked, trying to calm her down.
“I heard about the princes. Oh my goodness, they’re so hot,” Yuna gushed, dramatically blowing air out of her mouth. Her excitement made me smile, even though I was still feeling overwhelmed about everything.
“So, you know about the princes?” I asked, still trying to wrap my head around everything. It was my first time seeing them. and I felt completely out of the loop.
Rubbing my
forehead, I looked back at the guys. I can still see them from a distance, and the whole situation felt unreal.
“Wait, don’t tell me
you don’t know Hayden and Hector? You don’t know that they are princes?” Yuna asked, shocked.
“They’re new transfer students. How would I know they’re princes? Besides, I don’t hang out with pack members much. Who would want to be friends with a cursed, wolfless girl?” I said, tears stinging my eyes. It hurts to admit that out loud.
“I’m friends with the cursed, wolfless girl, and I love her,” Yuna teased, making me chuckle despite everything.
“And the wolfless girl loves you too,” I whispered, and we both laughed.
“Have you heard about the Prince’s Curse?” Yuna asked, her tone turning serious.
“I’m just hearing about them today. This is our first meeting. How would I know about a curse?” I asked, having a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach.
“I don’t know much, but there’s a prophecy that they’re both going to die soon, Yuna explained. Her words made my heart ache for them too. Was it because of the mate bond, or did I just care? Either way, the thought of them being in danger scared me.
HECTOR’S POV
I was scrolling through my phone, trying to digest all that just happened a few minutes ago. “I think she’s weird,” I said, feeling frustrated. Everything about Isabel was confusing.
Hayden is always the nice one, he gave me a disapproving look. “So what if she’s weird? She seems nice. She’s our mate,

Hector. You should at least try to be nice to her.”

I raised my eyebrows, feeling irritated by what he just said “You think I wasn’t nice? Cut me some slack man. I’m not happy with the Moon Goddess’s choice, but what can I do? One of us has to break this curse and be free,” I declared.
The curse meant that we couldn’t have any sexual relationship until we found our mate. As Alpha twins, we couldn’t be with anyone until we’ve found our mate and mark her as our mate. made everything so much harder and complicated.
Hayden looked disappointed. “Are you more worried about the curse than about Isabel?” he asked. I could see he was hurt by my lack of interest in Isabel. The curse is our problem, not hers, but it felt like it was making things worse.
I sighed. “What should I be concerned about? She couldn’t even stand up to her own family. Do you expect me to babysit her?” I was frustrated. The curse had already made my life difficult, and now I had to deal with more problems.
Hayden tried to reassure me. “I don’t think she’s bad. In fact, I think she’s a nice person.”
I scoffed. “Whether she’s nice or not, it doesn’t matter right now I just want her in my bed. We both know that’s important for breaking this curse,” I said.
Hayden shook his head. “Just sleeping with her without wanting anything more will hurt her. We should try to get to know her better, she has a lot going on in her life and you can see that

“I’ve said what I want. I just want her in my bed. We’re late for class,” I said, ending the conversation. I felt bad for being so cold, but the curse made everything hard.
As we walked into the classroom, everyone stared at us with excitement. The girls especially seemed captivated. I couldn’t deny I enjoyed the attention.
“They’re staring at us again,” Hayden murmured, while I smiled and winked at some of the girls who gave us a flirty smile in
return
Amelia and Evelyn smiled in their direction, and Hayden cursed under his breath. He wasn’t really pleased with the fact that we were classmates with these girls.
Just ignore them,” I advised.
“Exactly what I intend to do, ignore them like they never even existed in the first place,” Hayden acknowledged my advice as. we both smirked and walked to our seats.
