Monica had been watching Aaron’s every move from the shadows. She rose to her feet and chased after him, asking, “Aaron, are you feeling unwell? Here, let me help you.”
Aaron’s vision was tuming blurry. Although he did his best to control himself, he was still unable to stop his breathing from turning ragged and shallow,
Monica grabbed Aaron’s arm and guided him toward a room that she had booked beforehand. Her voice was coy as she tried her best to seduce him. “Aaron, I can help you if you’re feeling unwell”
Aaron’s jaw clenched tightly when he felt Monica’s touch on his skin while a nerve pulsed in his forehead. However, Monica wasn’t about to give up. She swiped the keycard to open the door and pushed Aaron into the room.
The room was bathed in darlmess. Someone had set out an aroma diffuser, causing a faint but cloying s
escent to
to permeate the room, making it even more difficult for
one to come to their senses.
Monica gazed at Aaron with desire in her eyes. She began to strip herself of her clothes, murmuring, “Aaron, I’ve loved you for a long, long time. I’m going to give my everything to you tonight, alright?
Monica’s voice echoed in Aaron’s ears. He shook his head, causing
e his vision
vision to spin once again. However, be didn’t give up and clung onto what little lucidity he had left. When he noticed Monica throwing herself at him, he threw his arm out and shoved her away.
Monica was caught completely off–guard. She didn’t expect that Aaron was able to hold on to his rationality despite being drugged. She lost her balance and tumbled down onto the carpeted floor she landed awkwardly, twisting her ankle in the process. An unbearable pain exploded from her anlde before it radiated to the rest of her body.
Aaron rose to his feet and tried to leave. However, he had only taken one step forward when his body began to tremble violently. He supported himself with one hand on the desk. The heat burning within him was spreading to every cell in his body. He could tell he was about to lose control. Discarding the last of his restraint, Aaron snatched up the glasses and flower vase on the desk and smashed them against the ground.
Monica had just been about to get up from the carpet when she witnessed Aaron losing control. She was scared out of her wits and let out a shrill scream. Her face twisted uncomfortably, wondering how the situation had ended up like this.
The drug she had used was extremely strong. If it worked as it was supposed to, Aaron should be ravishing her in bed at that moment. Why the hell was he smashing things around Iinstead?
She could only watch as he picked up one of the shattered glass shards from the floor. He gripped it tightly in his hand and it didn’t take long before fresh blood began to drip from his palm
Aaron was using the pain to cling onto the last bit of rationality he had left. He stood above Monica and looked down at her. His voice was cold as he said, “Monica Boyd, you’ll pay for this.”
Shivers ran down Monica’s spine upon hearing his threat. She scrambled to her feet to try to stop Aaron from leaving. She was going to sleep with him that right no -matter what! As long as they’ve had sex, he would have no choice but to take responsibility for her.
Monica grabbed Aaron’s arm in an attempt to block has way, but she was tossed aside when he swung his arm to dislodge her grip.
“Don’t touch me!” he roared, not bothering to conceal the loathing in his eyes.
Monica collapsed on the ground once more, knocking the back of her head on the coffee table on her way down. Her pupils contracted as her eyes widened upon Impact, and she slowly lost consciousness.
Aaron stumbled out of the coom on unsteady feet. There was only one thought swirling around in his mind–he needed to look for Nicole.
Meanwhile, Nicole had been resting in the room next door. Naturally, she had heard the sounds of Aaron’s and Monica’s scuttle. Her dizziness had only started to fade away after drinking two glasses of water, so she had continued to wait and rest in the room.
She decided to take a peekatter hearing the strange noises coming from next door. What she didn’t expect was to come face to face with Aaron after she opened the door. His eyes were reddened and the lines of his face were tight with tension as if he was holding Idinselt back.
