Dustin had not intended to intervene. He did not care as long as Ryan could wake Lucius from his state. Whether Ryan managed to cure Lucius was none of his concern.
However, when he saw the way Ryan planned to treat Lucius, he could no longer stay quiet.
If Ryan killed Lucius, Dustin could not find out about the past.
“What did you say?”
Ryan glared at Dustin. He looked extremely displeased.
He was a renowned top grade physician. He could not have some punk question his methods while he was trying to treat a patient.
The members of the West family watched in confusion.
How could this punk be so bold as to say such a thing?
“No matter what you do to treat Mr. West, he will die,” Dustin said flatly.
“What nonsense!” Ryan’s face darkened. He was outraged.
“Do you know who I am? Do you even know who my teacher is? Who do you think you are to question me?” he spat viciously.
“In all of Lovellia, no one other than the enigmatic Medical Sage has the right to question this treatment, was invented by an excellent grade physician!” he said loudly.
Dustin smirked.
He was the Medical Sage, and he was right in front of Ryan.
“Are you a physician? Do you have a physician’s license?” Ryan asked as he glared at Dustin.
It did not matter if Dustin was a physician. Ryan would still curse at him.
“I have some medical knowledge,” Dustin said calmly.

“That means nothing. Hmph! You don’t even have a physician’s license. How dare you question my methods?” Ryan sneered and became increasingly angry.
“I’ve met many like you. You know nothing, but you have to stick your nose somewhere it doesn’t belong. You think you can show off how special you are, but all you’re doing is trying to get attention and embarrassing yourself!
“Do you know how formidable an excellent grade physician is? You have no knowledge about this at all. What makes you think you can say anything in this context?”
As he said that, Ryan glanced at the members of the West family. He was furious.
“You were the ones who asked me to come here to treat Mr. West. What is the meaning of this? Did you get someone just to insult me? I can’t treat this patient anymore!”
When the members of the West family heard that, they quickly tried to calm Ryan’s anger.
“Hey, kid, if you don’t know anything about medicine, please be quiet for the moment. Please don’t disturb Dr. Parker,” Connor said grimly.

Dustin chuckled.
“If you don’t believe me, you can proceed. But if you do use that treatment, you’ll need to find a resurrectionist to save Lucius.”
His words displeased everyone.
“Sir, let’s just sit down and watch, okay?” Irene said in distress. She tugged at Dustin’s arm.
“You punk, don’t pretend like you know this. I’ll show you the effectiveness of a treatment plan created by an excellent grade physician!” Ryan laughed and prepared to perform the massage.
Ryan had someone hold Lucius upright while he massaged Lucius’s back.
In a few moves, Lucius spat out a glob of dark blood.
“Don’t panic, This is poisoned blood. The poison in Mr. West’s body has been half cleared,” Ryan said calmly to the family.
At that point, the members of the West family gathered the ingredients as ordered. Ryan had someone grind the ingredients into a powder so that it could be made into a tincture when mixed with hot water. Then, he fed it to Lucius.
After drinking the tincture, Lucius suddenly spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, which stained the sheets red.
Loud beeps rang through the room. The machines by the bed were ringing in alarm. The ECG machine went from showing the patient’s heartbeat to a straight line.
The patient was dead…
“What?!”
Ryan’s face turned pale. He was confused and stunned.
From what he knew, his treatment should have cured Lucius.
“Dad!”
“Grandpa!”
The members of the West family panicked and rushed forward.
“Dr. Parker, what is the meaning of this? Didn’t you say you could cure him?” Connor’s face turned ferocious. He
was not as polite and respectful as before. He grabbed Ryan by the collar and demanded answers.
