Courtney sighed as she sat on the couch. She thought Austin and Alina were pathetic,

The lady immediately warmed up. She thought, “What a decent guy, so tall and sturdy”
Once Hayden wanted to get comfortable with someone, he would be surprisingly friendly, but usually, he was quite reserved, really alood, and rather intimidating
Courtney walked to the doorway, gesturing for Austin and Alina to come in.
“Courtney, my mom is coming over to take care of your Austin looked at Courtney, reaching to hold her wrist. “I’m worried about you being alone.”
Country pulled her wrist back and coolly used gesture language. “No need?
“Don’t sign. I can’t understand it. Just grab that hoard and write” Alina pointed impatiently at the board on the coffee table.
Courtney ignored Alina. She thought, “Who does she think she is to boss others around?”

“You leave too” Counney wiped the words off the board, signaling for them both to leave. Austin took a deep breath, and Courtney knew he was
angry.
Austin rarely showed his emotions; he was good at holding them back, but this time he was clearly upset, though he pushed his anger down and spoke quietly, “Courtney, if we keep going like this, we might really not be able to fix things”
He was talking about his relationship with Courtney, that if they continued this way, they really would not have any wiggle room.
Courtney smiled slightly and looked up at Austin. She felt speechless that Austin still thought there was a chance for them.

Chapter 72
“Courtney, we’ve been together for five years, from our freshman year to getting our marriage certificate, Austin said to Courtney in a hoarse voice.
“The food’s getting cold; let’s eat first, Hayden said with a hint of frustration at the dinner table. He was really agitated, and what he hated most was hearing about Austin and Courtney’s paAL
It made him feel like he was always the one who came second, never able to surpass Austin.
Courtney wanted to walk over to Hayden, but Austin held her back, “Courtney, can we talk? just the two of us, to bring some closure to our relationship
Courtney’s steps halted. She thought maybe it really was time for some closure.
“Let’s eat first,” Hayden said, lowering his voice. He was concerned for Courtney, who had not been eating well, worried she would have a stomachache, but he was even more afraid of Courtney being deceived by Austin.
During those five years in South Weidan, he never dared to touch Courtney. Even when drugged, he would rather handle it himself than risk hurting her.
Hayden understood that if he ever touched Courtney against her will, there would truly be no chance for them. He had waited patiently for the possibility of Courtney and Austin getting a divorce.
Hispanic came from his lack of confidence. He thought, “In a relationship, only the one who’s favored can act fearlessly. Clearly, when it comes to Courtney, the favored one is never me. I’m always the one Courtney will abandon without hesitation”
