James paused momentarily, surprised that Hayden wasn’t dead yet, thinking, “Why didn’t Lucas’s guys take care of him? Useless bastards. Anyway, it doesn’t matter. He’s just a minor nuisance”
“Austin, we can’t allow Hayden to take advantage of Courtney’s money. He has quite a few charges against him–smuggling, money laundering, you name it. Courtney will be ruined if she sticks with him,” James said, looking at Austin.
“Besides, when Courtney was missing those two years, you treated her parents better than your own. That money rightfully belongs to you. How can you give it up so easily?”
