I didn’t care about their expressions and directly issued an order. to expel them.
“Send them out.”
“Please don’t, Lena.” Corey hurried forward to stop me. “I don’t mean anything else. At least we broke up peacefully before, and our relationship shouldn’t be so stiff.”
I thought of my embarrassment many years ago and sneered. “Peaceful breakup?”
Corey’s eyes were full of pain. “I regret it. I really regret it.
“But I don’t expect your consent. At least tonight, can you have dinner with us?
“Then I will never bother you again.”
I looked at the sincerity in Corey’s eyes and was about to say no when a woman’s scream suddenly came from the door.
“Corey!”
Sienna came at some point and heard everything at the door.
Behind her was Brian, who looked apologetic but not much. After seeing my gaze, he shrugged innocently.
“She clamored to see Mr. Skye, and I couldn’t do anything.
Sienna ran in and grabbed Corey’s clothes, scolding and beating him.
“Corey, are you still human? You said Ethan was not feeling well, and you wanted to take him to see a doctor.
“But you brought him to see this bitch.
“Can’t you change the day? Why did it have to be today? Today is our anniversary!”
She cried in pain, and her whole body collapsed and despaired to the point of breaking point.
To be honest, it was hard for me to associate her with the elegant and beautiful Sienna in the past.
Corey looked at her with deep disgust and fatigue, just like the way he looked at me back then.
Being really annoyed, Corey grabbed Sienna’s wrist. He was still slapping, and shouted, “Enough!”
Sienna’s crying stopped abruptly. She stared at Corey with resentment and confusion.
I reminded them. “I’m sorry, Mr. Skye. Our company is not the place for you to solve your family affairs. I suggest you leave and find a suitable place to talk.”
Sienna turned her head and said to me angrily, “What are you pretending? Don’t think I don’t know. You saw Corey and Ethan. come to you, and you are very proud. You think you can control

The veins on Corey’s forehead jumped.
“Sienna, you are getting more and more outrageous now.” He said in a low voice, gritting his teeth. “Do you know that you are embarrassing me now? Go home.”
After saying that, he pulled Sienna out.
Ethan followed them, walked a few steps, and suddenly turned his head to look at me again.
He wanted to say something but was interrupted by Sienna’s sharp voice.
His lips stammered a few times and finally followed them.
“Lena.” Brian stood beside me, looking at me with love in his
eyes.
“He used to treat you like this, didn’t he?”
My mind suddenly flashed with countless memories that I had buried deep in my heart.
Those not–so–good memories.
I smiled. “I forgot them all. After all, people have to look forward.”
But I was still a little worried.
I thought Ethan’s mental state was a little bit wrong.
