I couldn’t stand it any longer, so I turned around and said to him, “Mr. Skye, I’ll remind you last time, you’re married now. And I don’t want to have any more entanglement with you. Your current behavior has constituted harassment.”
His eyes moved slightly, and he seemed a little disappointed.
“Lena, that’s not what I meant. I just want to tell you that since you’re back, you should go to see Ethan. He misses you very much.”
I didn’t believe what he said.
Did he miss me? Then he could call me or send me messages.
But there had been no news from Ethan for three years.
But I was also happy to be free.
I pointed to the hotel behind us.
“Sienna is in there, and you just left her there alone, huh?”
Corey frowned.
“It’s not like she can’t handle such an occasion. I don’t need to be
there.”
I was a little confused. “She’s your childhood sweetheart, someone you’ve liked for many years. And do you just treat her
“We are childhood sweethearts, but I haven’t liked her for many years. Most of the time, I just treat her as my sister.”
Sister?
I almost laughed out loud.
I remembered how much he missed Sienna during the years when I was married to him.
The gifts they exchanged from childhood were carefully collected by him and placed in an iron box.
Once, I was just cleaning and accidentally dropped something inside.
He got furious and didn’t treat me well for a whole month.
Just a sister.
But in the ten years of marriage, he always called her name every time he was drunk.
I looked at Corey’s cold and handsome face and suddenly felt more and more disgusted.
Why did I fall for him?
Now I understood.
There was no eternal first love. As long as two people stayed together for a long time, first love would become ordinary.
Corey only loved the feeling of being in love but not being able to get

Even if I acted irritated and disgusted, Corey still insisted on sending me home.
His phone rang many times during the period.
I remembered that it was the ringtone he had set specially for Sienna.
In the end, Corey got irritated and turned off his phone.
He turned his head and looked at me with a half–smile..
Corey frowned and said helplessly, “Lena, be good. If I weren’t there just now, you would have been in trouble. How can I let you go home alone? I’m just sending you home. If you don’t trust me, I can just send you to a place close to your house.”
“Sorry, someone will pick me up, so I won’t bother you.” I still resisted.
Corey smiled.
“Okay, then I’ll see if anyone is here to pick you up today.
Five minutes later, a Maybach stopped beside me.
Brian got out of the car and put his coat on me.
“It’s windy at night. You should wear more clothes before you go out. It’s not good to catch a cold.”
Brian looked at me with eyes full of pampering.

I ignored Corey, whose face was getting gloomier. I took Brian’s arm affectionately and deliberately said softly, “This is because I thought of you coming, and I knew you wouldn’t let me catch a
cold.”
Before getting in the car, I turned around and said to Corey, “Mr. Skye, goodbye.”
