Chapter 2
When Jonathan woke up in the morning, he gave Anna his usual good–morning kiss.
“Anna, I missed our wedding anniversary yesterday. Can I make it up to you today?”
“How about we go to the amusement park? Didn’t you say before that you wanted to go?” Anna wasn’t very interested and was about to refuse, but Jonathan had already prepared everything they needed to go out, even picking out clothes for her.
Once they arrived at the amusement park, he was constantly paying attention to taking care of
her.
She barely pursed her lips, and he immediately offered her a drink.
If she looked at a stuffed animal for too long, he would buy it for her right away.

Jonathan didn’t care if those rides seemed childish. As long as she liked them, he would go along with her.

A young girl from a couple jumped up excitedly and pulled her boyfriend over to Anna.

Jonathan wasn’t fond of taking photos, but he was willing to go along with Anna.
Click! The photo was taken. The young couple hurriedly said, “You two really have a great relationship! It’s so enviable! Stay this happy forever!”

Jonathan smiled and nodded.
But he didn’t notice that Anna had remained silent the entire time, because only she knew they wouldn’t have a future together.
At lunch, during a break, Jonathan checked his phone multiple times.
Noticing Anna’s gaze, he quickly apologized and tried to calm her down, “Anna, I’m sorry, I have some work that needs to be handled right now. Please eat first, and I’ll make it up to you later, okay?”
However, the next moment, a picture of a luxurious castle appeared on his phone screen.
He was lying. He wasn’t handling work. He was watching a live stream.
Anna smirked sarcastically, then silently opened the live stream of Isabella on her phone.
Isabella was a relatively unknown internet celebrity, but not long ago, Jonathan had signed her to the company and made her the spokesperson for AYANNA.
Everyone was guessing whether she had someone backing her up with such good resources.
Little did they know, the person behind her was Jonathan.
At that moment, Isabella was livestreaming in front of the amusement park entrance. She proudly showed her phone to the viewers and boasted:
“Look, this amusement park was a gift from my boyfriend. You get a discount if you mention my name, so feel free to come play!”
Hearing this, Anna’s hand that was holding the phone suddenly grew cold, a chill running through her.
The amusement park Jonathan brought her to–was it the one he gave to Isabella?
The comments section was full of disbelief.
“Stop bragging. You, a small internet star, how could you possibly afford a place like this?”
“Just trying to get attention. No proof, I can stand at the amusement park entrance and claim it’s mine too.”
“You must be crazy for fame. Do you even know this amusement park costs billions?”
Isabella bit her lip in grievance and said, “I’m not lying! Look, here’s my name on the ownership documents!”
She then took out the property deed, clearly showing Isabella’s name in black and white.
The live stream immediately exploded, with messages flooding in, and people were in awe.

The comments quickly filled up with votes for Jonathan, since he was famous for his affection for his wife, even spending all his money and nearly his life for her.
Just then, an account named “Like Isabella” appeared, and in one go, it sent a thousand yachts, filling the screen with dazzling special effects, leaving everyone stunned.
In that moment, the number of viewers in Isabella’s live stream shot up from hundreds of thousands to millions.
A bold message flashed across the screen: “Of course, I love Isabella more.”
The live stream exploded again, with everyone frantically commenting.
“The real person has appeared! So rich! So rich!”
Isabella smiled proudly, her eyes full of spoiled affection. “See? I told you my boyfriend loves me.”
Anna’s hand trembled slightly as she gripped the phone, and when she looked up, she saw Jonathan’s lips curled up in a faint smile, his eyes full of adoration.
He was the one who sent that message: Like Isabella.
Her heart felt as if someone had twisted it with all their might. The pain lingered, even after the grip had been released.
