Chapter 27
Feel the intense pressure radiating from Dillon, Timothy swallowed hard.
Dulon’s icy gare alone was enough to make his lowes weak
Dillon pulled his gaze away and said coolly, “Perhaps you should explain to me what really happened at your villa that night because what I’m hearing doesn’t quite match the results of my investigation.”
Timothy opened his mouth but realized he didn’t know what to say.
Alison quickly stepped forward “Dillon, Timothy just got a little carried away after seeing Estelle. He didn’t mean what he said. I’ve already forgiven Estelle.” Dillon looked at her thoughtfully. “Forgiven?”
She might have forgiven Estelle, but it was clear Estelle hadn’t forgiven her.
He couldn’t help but wonder if Alison had really been the victim back then.
Alison’s eyes welled up on cue. “I know you care more about Estelle now. It’s fine. Go after her. I’ll… I’ll wish you both happiness.”
“Let’s go.” Dallon said before turning to leave.
At the venue, Estelle didn’t seem too affected by the earlier interruption and quickly got back into the day’s proceedings.
Meanwhile, Dillon sat in the car, staring at Estelle as she spoke on stage.
Alison, who was seated beside him, noticed the faint sanile tugging at the corner of his lips. Jealousy once again flared in her eyes.
She despised how that buchy Estelle had stolen Dillon’s attention once again.
Alison quiddy forced a smile. “It’s surprising that Estelle is the founder of Stellar Foundation. I heard the founder was a talented young man, but i guess that was
just a minor.
Dillon coldly looked up at her.
His gaze was like that of a venomous snake, causing Alison to feel a sudden surge of guilt. “Perhaps I misheard.”
Timothy scoffed. “Wut land of money could she possibly have? I bet she found some rich guy overseas Dillon, don’t let her fool you.”
Dillon frowned, but he stayed silent.
Timothy mistakenly assumed Dillon agreed with him and barreled on, “Honestly, the reason she didn’t come back for so long is probably because she was too busy enjoying herself with that man abroad.”
Dillon stroked the ring on his finger. A layer of cold, eerle chili swept over has Indy eyes, but he hid his emotions so well that no one
could read him.
When the car pulled up in front of the villa, Dillon didn’t get out. He simply had the driver open the door for them.
