Chapter 13 Marla Wanted to Team up with Deml
The person who got out of the car was an A–lister who was even more popular than Thomas. His name was George Lenon, and he was three years older than Thomas. They had both debuted at around the same time.
Although he had debuted as a singer and dancer, he had developed a solid career in acting. Despite the fact that he had never gotten any major awards, every show that he was in became extremely popular.
George had a commanding air to him, and he was aloof yet approachable. He was someone who did things his way to the point where he could come off as domineering.
Hence, there was a rumor that he was actually from a rich family. After all, he had studied in a famous college overseas, and he could inherit the family business
time he wanted.
George had never admitted that the rumors were true, and he would merely smile when he was asked about it.
Thomas was different from him in that aspect. After all, Thomas was known to be a son from a rich family ever since his debut.
George got out of the car, and everyone introduced themselves again. Only this time, everyone merely waved at each other or shook each other’s hands. Chad was the only one who bowed politely to everyone when he shook their hands
As they talked among each other, the fifth car arrived, and a sexy lady got out of the car
The lady was a slinger with a curvy figure. She was dressed in a tight–fiting dress that accentuated her curves. Her blonde hair flowed behind her in waves, and she had evenly tanned skin
She was two years older than Thomas and had received many awards. Hence, her status in the entertainment industry was quite high.
Then, she smiled at everyone in a friendly manner while waving at them. “Hello, everyone! My name is Maria Dane.”
Everyone greeted her in response, saying, “Ms. Dane, it’s nice to meet you!”

Demi was confused.
Maria had actually done her research on the other guests on the show. Demi was the only one who seemed to be able to do work, whereas the other guests looked like they had never done a house chore in their entire life. Hence, she wanted to have Demi in her group first.
Right at that moment, the last car arrived. A middle–aged couple got out of the car.
The main was Nigel Yale, and he was a veteran actor. He was strict about his work and looked quite formidable.
His wife was Wendy Com, a teacher from a music college. She ended elegance and was gentle. She knew how to play quite a few traditional instruments and would occasionally perform at some formal dinners.
They were both well–known, esteemed figures, and everyone greeted them.
The director beamed at them. “Alright. Now that everyone’s here, let’s prepare to bead to our destination. We’re going to Creek Village.”
Maria looked around. “Is such a big car able to get inside? We need to use a smaller car, right?+
Everyone started looking around as well to see what kind of car the program crew had prepared
However, the SUVS were the only cars there.
The director, Matt Hahn, answered her question with a bright smile, “Stop looking around. Even smaller cars won’t be able to fit inside.” George sensed that there was a hint of mischief in Matt’s smile. “How are we getting there, then? We won’t be walking there, will we?”
“That’s right! We’ll be walking there!” Matt nodded with a chuckle.
Everyone was dumbfounded for a moment before they started whining. The three female guests in heels were complaining particularly loudly.
Everyone realized that out of all the guests, only Demi was wearing sneakers.
The other women were wearing gorgeous dresses instead of the sportswear that Demi had on.
Ana was wearing a long, white dress that reached her ankles, whereas Maria was in a tight dress that served to highlight her curves. Wendy was wearing a dress that reached past her calves, and it looked particularly elegant
Maria refused to give in. She asked, “Director Hahn, is there no other way? My legs will breakitwe walk that far!”
Everyone chimed in in agreement, and even Demi joined them.
Although it wasn’t an issue for her to hike up the mountain, she couldn’t just say so, Otherwise, she would look like she was distancing herself from the rest of them.
