Norman’s phone rang abruptly. His heart jumped with hope, and he grabbed it quickly, answering the call “Juliet, where are you? I’ll come get you right away!”
“Norman, it’s me.” Iris faint voice came through the line. “I’m going to The Stellar Voices Awards Ceremony tomorrow. Will you-”
“I’m busy,” Norman Interrupted before she could finish. “I’m taking Juliet to the cemetery tomorrow to pay our respects.”
The anniversary of Claire’s death arrived. Still, there was no sign of Juliet
Norman combed through Juliet’s contacts, calling every one of them, frantic for any hint of where she might be. But no one had seen her or had any idea of her location.
A week flew by in what seemed like no time at all, and Juliet remained missing.
Night after night, Norman lay awake, too overwhelmed to focus on running Walsh Group. He spent his days driving around aimlessly, hoping to catch a glimpse of her somewhere in the city.
But each time, he was filled with the same heavy disappointment. It was as if Juliet had vanished into thin air, leaving no trace of her presence in Belcrest.
Fearing she might be struggling to afford food or medical care, he asked Jerome to transfer money to her account, only to be shocked when Jerome told him her account had been closed
Just as Norman was at his wit’s end, Seth approached him, his voice urgent. I just heard the lights are on at our previous home. Jullet must have gone there to recover from her Injuries!”
“Really?” Norman’s heart lifted, a flicker of hope reigniting within him. Jerome, get the car ready!”
In the car, he cradied a bouquet in his hands, examining it closely. “Seth, are you sure Juliet likes phalaenopsis orchids? I don’t recall her ever having them around the house” “That’s because you don’t like them, so she never kept them at home,” Seth replied, his tone reflective.
“But this is the first time I’ve seen juliet this mad at you. Not only did she cut off all contact, but she didn’t even show up to pay her respects on Mom’s anniversary. You’re going To have to put in some serious effort to fix this.”
“I will Fli make up for every mistake I’ve made, Norman said, clutching the flowers tighter.
He’d always convinced himself that Iris was the one he truly loved and that jubet was merely there to fill in the void.
But when Juliet disappeared, it struck him that the fear he felt was 100 times worse than when he’d learned of Iris‘ misfortune all those y
years ago.
Norman was terrified that the serial killer might have dismembered juliet’s body, rendering his search futile. He feared that after her rebirth, someone might take advantage of her beauty and assad her again.
Every night, he dreamed of Juliet, crying out to him for help.
When they arrived at thei: destination, Norman threw the car door open and rushed upstairs.
He knocked on the door, his voice urgent as he called out, “Juliet, you’re in there, aren’t you? Open the door!”
The moment the door opened, he pulled the woman into his arms, his voice trembling. “I’m sorry, Juliet. I’ve done so many things wrong and hurt you deeply. I’ll make it up to you, i promise. I’ll never let you suffer again!”
A man hurried over and yanked Norman away. “Who are you? Why are you hugging her? This is my wite!”
Korman stated intently and realized the woman in front of him wasn’t juliet at all.
Shocked and furious, he snapped, “My wife owns this house. Who are you, and what are you doing here?”
The man landed over a property deed and said, “Your wile sold the house to us. Weren’t you aware? The contract was signed on August 10th.”
“What?” Seth snatched the property deed from the man, his voice brimming with disbelief. “pallet sold our previous home without telling me? This has to be a fake!”
His anger flared as he continued, “Alter our mom passed away, Juliet and I lived here for six years. I cooked for her every day and took her to and from school right up until she left for college.
“This households all the memodes of us siblings relying on each other. Jullet loved this place. She would never have sold
