Chapter 154 All Your Love Is for Nathaniel Now
Sofia Schneider didn’t need to ask to know that Emiliano Rogers had told Sylvia Grant about the dish.
He knew well that Sylvia’s favorite was Sofia’s Run, Little Chicken.‘
Every time Sofia made it, Sylvia would find her way to the table no matter how far away she was.
However, Sylvia had been abroad for the past few years and hadn’t had the chance to taste it.
Sofia replied, “Emiliano knows how to make it. You can ask him.”
Sylvia immediately refused, sending a voice message, “Sofia, what kind of talk is that? You made this dish for Nathaniel Hart and now you’re passing me off to Emiliano? Can he make it like you? No, he can’t! You’ve changed, Sofia Schneider! All your love is for Nathaniel now, and it breaks my he

Sofia accidentally played the message on speaker, filling the room with Sylvia’s dramatic protest.
Feeling a bit exasperated, she responded, “Emiliano learned it directly from me.”
But Sylvia was relentless, insisting, “I don’t care! Sofia, you broke my heart! You have to make it up to me!”
Sofia quickly transferred some money to Sylvia and forcefully replied, “There, take this.”
After receiving a generous transfer, Sylvia immediately became sweet and cooperative, sending a kneeling emoji and saying, “Alright, I’ll back off.”
Sofia shook her head. If she didn’t know how much Sylvia genuinely loved “Run, Little Chicken,” she might suspect Sylvia was using it as an excuse to scam her.
Putting her phone away, Sofia looked up to find Nathaniel gazing at her with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Her heart skipped a beat, and she coughed lightly, stating the obvious, “You finished eating, huh?”

She looked up just as Nathaniel leaned in close. His face loomed larger, making her instinctively step back, but he pulled her into his arms, holding her by the waist.
“So, I’m your precious darling?” Nathaniel teased.
Sofia nearly choked on her own saliva, quickly shaking her head, “Don’t listen to Sylvia’s nonsense.”
She silently cursed Sylvia for sending voice messages with such outrageous statements, especially when Nathaniel, this crafty man, was around to hear them.
Who knew how much he’d tease her about it later?
As expected, Nathaniel began to gently rub her back, “Am I not your precious darling? Your denial really hurts my feelings.”
Sofia wanted to smack his head but stopped herself when she saw his seemingly hurt expression.
She pressed Nathaniel’s hand and said, “Well, you got to eat my ‘Run, Little Chicken,‘ and no one else did.”
With that, she slipped out of his embrace and into the dining room.
Nathaniel smiled, understanding the deeper meaning behind her words.
Now, he was indeed the most special person to her.
He followed her, wanting to help clean up, but she swatted his hand away.
“Don’t forget, your restriction hasn’t been lifted yet. You’re not allowed to carry anything.”
Nathaniel felt a bit helpless. Wasn’t it over the top to stop him from carrying even a few dishes?
He protested, “Sofia, being unable to do anything makes me feel useless.”
“It won’t be long now,” Sofia said. “Just hang in there for a few more days.”
Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, Sofia saw Nathaniel’s continued look of disappointment.

She asked, “Why are you so eager to do housework? You’ve probably never done it before.”
Given the Hart family’s status, with countless staff attending to every need, she didn’t understand Nathaniel’s sudden interest in chores.
Nathaniel scratched his nose, unable to deny her point.
As she said, he’d never done these things growing up.
But now, it was different.
Now, it was just the two of them in this house.
He didn’t want Sofia to handle everything alone.
“I want to help you,” Nathaniel said.
Sofia, understanding his meaning, smiled, “If you really want to help me, then listen to what I say. That’s the best way to help.”
Nathaniel, feeling a bit defeated, asked softly, “Haven’t I been obedient enough?”
Sofia blinked, “Not quite. You’ve been a bit naughty lately.”
If he wasn’t someone she’d worked so hard to heal, she would have given him a good dose of tough love by now for making her blush and feel flustered so often.
Nathaniel squinted, seeing the spark of mischief in Sofia’s eyes, and suddenly felt a chill.
He realized that if he kept pushing her, she might really beat him up.
Recalling Sofia’s powerful kick to Kassidy Schneider, Nathaniel, despite his curiosity to spar with her, decided it was best done elsewhere.
After all, given Sofia’s current restrictions on him, he wasn’t in any shape to handle a fight.
