His fist was less than an inch away from Dustin’s head.
But it stopped cold, and he could not move any further!
Dustin had grabbed Shadow One’s wrist in an iron grip. It was held so tightly that Shadow One could not move at all.
With great effort, Shadow One finally struggled free and retreated a few paces away.
“It seems that the Wyatt family has underestimated you, Dustin,” Shadow One said solemnly.
He had to admit that Dustin’s skills were formidable. Perhaps he was even a match for him.
Yet, the Wyatt family thought that Dustin was useless…
“It’s late. I don’t have the time to mess around with you,” Dustin said with a frown.
“Drake, play with him, will you?” Dustin said and turned around. “If you take more than three moves to deal with him, don’t report back to me.”
When Dustin was about to leave, Shadow One immediately stepped forward to stop him.
However, a figure appeared before him and blocked his way.
“Who are you?” Shadow One’s face stiffened.
Shadow One could sense that this man was… very powerful.
“I am My Liege’s servant,” Drake said indifferently.
How could someone like this call himself a servant?
It was only for certain reasons that the Shadows served Lydia. However, they still had their own influence
“My Liege has given me three moves to deal with you, but I’ll finish this with just one,” said Drake with a blank face.
“You should feel embarrassed for your arrogance!” Shadow One’s temper flared. He attacked Drake.
Shadow One did not want to waste too much time with Drake. He wanted to get rid of him fast and follow
Dustin.
“Die!” Drake spat and kicked.
The force from the kick was explosive. Shadow One’s face twisted in shock and fear.
Shadow One thought of blocking the kick, but Drake was too fast.
Shadow One could not prevent the kick from landing on his abdomen.
He was sent flying backward and landed more than twenty feet away.
He spat out a mouthful of blood. He felt like he was barely hanging onto life.
With one kick, Drake injured Shadow One’s insides. There was no way he would survive
Drake was terrifyingly powerful!

Shadow One smiled bitterly.
He had assumed that this would be a simple mission. However, it turned out to be the cause of his death.
Drake approached and looked at Shadow One. Then, a satisfied look flashed on his face.
It had only taken one strike…
He could rest easy and report to Dustin.
“You’re a sovereign grade fighter…
Would you serve that trash?” Shadow One asked in confusion.
There were only a few sovereign grade fighters in the world.
Such people were highly respected and enjoyed high privileges in society. Why would any of them work for someone like Dustin?
Besides, Dustin was a piece of trash that had been kicked out of the Wyatt family for having no value.
“My Liege’s capabilities are a hundred times better than mine,” Drake said indifferently.
“What?”
Shadow One’s eyes widened when he heard that. He could not believe it.
Dustin was a hundred times more skilled than a sovereign grade fighter?
He could not believe it at all!
Shadow One’s eyes soon glazed over, and he died.
In the living room of the Wyatt family villa, Lydia waited, but Shadow One did not return with his report.
Half an hour passed, then an hour. Then, two hours went by…
The Wyatt sisters had been standing at the side for so long that their legs had gone numb. Yet, Shadow
One still did not return.
“Mother, maybe something happened?” Amara asked after mustering all of her courage.
Lydia’s face changed from its cool indifference to impatience. Then, it turned grim.
It had been two whole hours since Shadow One had gone. Anyone could sense that something had gone
wrong.
“The Shadows are elites that father trained. They are even more powerful than the Williams family’s Blackguard. There’s no way Shadow One couldn’t handle Dustin,” Delia said in disbelief.
The sisters were baffled.
Was Dustin not just a worthless nobody?
Lydia snickered.
“Do you really think Dustin has learned nothing from following your father for so many years?“

After saying that, Dustin boldly walked out of the villa.
This way, he was bringing the past to a close. As for what came next, those would be dealt with as they
came.
Lydia was silent as she quietly watched Dustin leave.
“Mother, Dustin has become too arrogant! We can’t let him go!”
“That’s right! Eli is still suffering, and only Dustin can treat him!”
“We should lock him up and torture him!”
The Wyatt sisters complained once Dustin left.
“Are you trying to teach me how to make decisions?” Lydia asked with a cold face.
The sisters immediately fell silent.
Lydia clapped once.
There was a whoosh of air, and a black shadow materialized. The man knelt on one knee before Lydia.
“Shadow One, ready for orders!” the man said respectfully.
“Shadow!”
‘The Wyatt sisters were shocked.
This was a secret they had only heard about. The Shadows were the Wyatt family’s secret force. They had never seen them in person before.
It seemed that this force was under Lydia’s control after their father’s death.
“Shadow One, go and break Dustin’s legs and make sure he can’t fight again. Then, bring him back to this villa,” Lydia said slowly after taking a sip of her tea.
“Understood!”
Shadow One bowed before disappearing in a flash.
Dustin was wandering in the dark night.
After walking for a while, he suddenly stopped. His face turned stony.
“Come out!” he shouted.
“Impressive! You sensed I was here through my breathing,” someone said calmly.
A figure walked out from the darkness.
Dustin raised an eyebrow when he noticed the person’s attire.

“Lydia must think quite highly of me if she sent one of the Shadows to get me,” he muttered as though he was talking to himself.
Having spent so many years by his adoptive father’s side, he naturally knew what kind of force the Shadows were.
His adoptive father had once said that Dustin would be in charge of the Shadows after his death.
Yet, Dustin had never seen any trace of the Shadows. It was only afterward that he found out they were under Lydia’s influence and had gone against his adoptive father’s orders.
Dustin had to admit that Lydia had some tricks of her own.
“Which Shadow are you?” Dustin asked.
“Shadow One,” the man said breezily.
There were nine Shadows in total, and they were all elites who had been trained personally by Dustin’s adoptive father. They were ordered by their numbers.
The higher the number, the more powerful they were.
Dustin did not fear anyone ranked below six.
According to what he had heard from his adoptive father, the ones ranked beyond six were world–class fighters.
Dustin did not know if they were also under Lydia’s influence at the moment.
“What is it? My rank doesn’t impress you?” said Shadow One tauntingly.
Dustin’s face grew solemn.
“Indeed, it doesn’t,” he said seriously.
Shadow One stiffened.
“Very well. You’ve lived up to your name as the top student of the Wyatt family’s patriarch,” he said in a sinister voice. “But my mistress has ordered me to break your legs and make sure you can’t fight ever again. Given my strength, there might be some mistakes.
“Maybe I’ll end up breaking all your limbs!”
After that, Shadow One moved.
He was like a spirit in the night. He moved with only the noise of the wind as he rushed at Dustin.
Shadow One’s capabilities far outmatched any normal person, and he was much more skilled than the Williams family’s Blackguard.
They were almost a match for Dustin’s Shadow Guard
