Chapter 95
The plane song sounded calin and felt heartwarming. Eloise walked over and noticed that William was completely engrossed in the plan. His eyes the gentlest she had ever seen too
Once the song was over, William pulled Eloise over and made her sit with him.
“What’s the name of the song von fost played?” she asked.
William pondered on it for a while before he shook his head and laughed. “I forgot about it. Its melody popped into my mind, and I just played it,”
“Your dad told me that you weren’t gifted enough to play the violin, but it sounds like you can play the piano wonderfully”
“I realized that I don’t have any talest in playing the violin. So, I took plano lessons instead.”
“Is this your plane?” Eloise noticed a lot of cartoonish stickers on I. It didn’t look like it belonged to William.
“This plans belongs to Felix’s younger sister. Do you remember me telling you about Felix!”
Eloise nodded in response. Back when William ran away from the Robinson residence, be made three fast friends in the same year, John Humphrey, Olly Simpson, and Felix Alvarez. However, Felix died when he tried to forcibly take away some money.
“Felix’s parents were teachers. Before the car accident, they lived a rather comfortable and happy life. His younger sister was taking plano lessons back then
“After the tragedy, however, Felix’s relatives tricked him and took away the compensation as well as the family savings.
“He had no choice but to drop out of school and work to raise his younger sister. Back then, she wanted a piano. So, all four of us worked odd but demanding jobs to save up enough for a piano.
“Eventually, we managed to scrounge up enough money to buy her this second–hand piano and gave it to her on her birthday.”
William always had a smile on his face whenever he talked about that one year in his life. Although it was tiring and demanding, he found happiness in the arms of his close friends.
“Telix’s younger sister? Eloise recalled the short–haired young lady who brought her beef pie. The latter was a feisty lady.
“Yeah. Her name is…” William frowned and searched his memory, but he couldn’t recall it anymore. “I forgot about her name. The fact was that she spent most of her time on campus, and she wasn’t that close to the three of us.”
William turned around and carried Eloise. He sat her down on his lap and robbed her hair, which was still somewhat wet. There was a hint of assertion in his eyes as he grinned. Then, he held the back of her head and pressed down, while he leaned closer and kissed her.
William was savoring Eloise’s sweet lips when his phone suddenly rang. At first, he didn’t want to answer it. He intended to enjoy his intimate moment
However, William’s phone never stopped ringing. Flat out of options, he leaned over and kept Eloise in his arms before he grabbed his phone
It was a call about work, and it was quite urgent
William put his phone down. He looked at Eloise and couldn’t resist kissing her again before he carried her to the bathroom.
“I have to go out of town, or of the projects I’m in charge of ran into some issues.”
Eloise was lying on top of William. When she heard what he said, she raised her head and asked, ““Right now?”
“Yeah. It is an emergency.”
Eloise stood on her toes and pecked his cheeks. “Stay safe. Also, I can wash myself up. Go ahead and pack up your luggage now.”
“It doesn’t take long anyway.” William pressed his forehead against Eloise’s, “I will bathe you for as long as lar home.”
She hammered his shoulder playfully and said, “That’s not happening”
William grinned. “I need this. Will you please grant me the pleasure of bathing you?”
Eloise was so amused that her face reddened, and she couldn’t help but smile. Eventually, she let him bathe her.
Once they were out of the bathroom, William laid her to rest on the bed. “I’m going to the walk–in closet and pack up my luggage. Then, I’m heading out
“I’m going to see you all.”
“I’m seeing you off.”
By the time Eloise put on some clothes, William was done packing too. She walked him to the door, and Benjamin was already waiting by the car
“Give me a call once you reach there,” Eloise said.
William held her and gave her a smooch. “You got it.”
Eloise watched as he stepped into the car and remained where she stood as it drove off into the night. All of a sudden, she felt hollow on the inside. She slinagged and took two steps back.
Just as Eloise was about to close the door, someone unexpectedly appeared and stuck his foot into it, keeping it from closing.
