Chapter 21
Lily was following through on her words–using the Killemme family’s influence to drive is not of the hospital, out of this neighborhood, and ultimately, out
Eloise walked up to the commotion and asked the two to step aside.
“Eloise Sullivan, I want you to my

Eloise nodded, entered her fingerprint to unlock the door, and shut it in Lily’s face.
“A suggestion for Mrs. Kilbourne,” she called out through the door. “If you really want me gone, why not buy out this entire villa complex? With the Kilbourne family’s wealth, it should be a breeze.”
With that, Eloise tummed and walked further into her home.
Eloise Sullivan! The only reason you’re living here is because of Jacob’s money! Have some shame! Jacob is about to get married, and you’re still clinging to him!” Lily velled angrily.
Eloise ignored her. Back inside, she began planning how to renovate her house.
The next morning. Benjamin came over and tookher to the construction materials market. Although unfamiliar with such things, she figured a house should be designed for comfort, not just aesthetics.
She browsed through both the material and furniture markets, eventually deciding to handle the renovations herself.
The structural work of the house was already complete, so all it needed was a touch of color. She planned to focus on the soft fumishings once the main work was fished, giving herself time to choose carefully
By the end of the day, she had only purchased a few buckets of eco–friendly paint
“Ms. Sullivan, Mr. Huntington has some designer friends. Would you like them to help with the design? Do you prefer something classic and elegant, bold and romantic, or perhaps timeless with intricate details? Benjamin asked as he helped unload the paint.
Eloise shook her head. “Something simple will do. No need for a specific style,”
“No need. I’ll start on my own,” she said.
“Can you manage it by yourself?” he asked, concerned.
“I’m not sure, but I’d like to try.”
After Benjamin left, Eloise began clearing out the house. Anything movable was taken outside to prevent it from getting dirty, and the larger pieces were covered with plastic sheets judging by the minimalistic interior, she guessed William shared her dislike for overly complicated designs
Since they both seemed to prefer simplicity, she decided to keep the renovations straightforward yet cozy.
She wasn’t planning to use William’s card for the work–not out of pride, but because she believed it was better to keep things even. After all, partnerships could end at any time, and it was best to owe nothing
here weren’t many things in the house. After covering

Too lazy to cook, she made a cup of instant noodles and set up a small table in the yard to eat. While eating, she brainstormed ideas for the garden–a flower bed with colorful blooms, and maybe a small pavilion for coffee and cluts.
