Eloise stared at th
the words she typed before eventually deleting them.
William wasn’t in the entertainment industry. Even if he did have the ability, he didn’t stand a chance against the Kilbourne family.
“Perhaps they couldn’t stand me being bullied by Sophia’s team, and they just happened to have these photos on hand, so they decided to post them,” Eloise said Indifferently.
Celia shook her head. “It can’t be that simple.”
After Jacob stepped up to clanty things, Sophia’s team quickly followed suit. They first posted an apology to Eloise and then worked to remove all the intimate photos of Sophia and Shawn.
That aftemoon, Sophia checked out of the hospital.
By the time Eloise had finished work and exited the hospital, the crowd from this morning had already dispersed. Her life had finally returned to normal.
After getting off the subway, Eloise bought a bouquet of flowers and held it close to her chest.
She took a picture of them and posted it on her stories with the caption. “Today’s been a great day. I loved every second of it.”
Quincey immediately liked it and commented, “Good for you. You finally saw through the scumbag’s true nature. Jacob, I’m talking about you.”
Eloise couldn’t help but chockle, “I’ve already blocked him, so he can’t see your comment.
Quincey sent a cheeky emoji and commented again, “Then could the scumbag’s friends pass on the message!
Xavier asked, “What does that mean? I don’t get it.”
Jack replied, “I don’t get it either.”
Quincey posted another comment with an angry emoji. “I’ll be back at Kingsbury soon. The both of you better be prepared to face my wrath!”
Eloise happily made her way home. As she passed Jacob’s front door, the door coincidentally swung open, and Maryanne walked out with a parcel in her arms.

Before Maryanne could finish her sentence, a sharp voice rang out. “What are you standing there for? Just throw it in the trash. Who would send thing to our house? The moment I opened it just now, the smell almost made me gag.”

“But I’m warning you, you better stay the hell away from Jacob. Sophia is already pregnant with the Kilboume family’s grandchild. If you upset her and something goes wrong, I won’t let you off the hook”
Lily had always looked down on her. When she and Jacob were still together, she’d always try to make things difficult for her and even insulted her a couple of Limes.
Eloise had never put up with it back then, so how could she now?
“Ms. Kilbourne, do you need me to fetch you a speaker?” Eloise raised her brows

“Why would I be? After all, I’m not the one who’s swearing and bullying others.”
“Wh–Who do you think you are!”
“Who do you think you are? What gives you the right to yell at me? Your son and I had a great relationship, but then he cheated! Feel free to shout all you want. I can even record it and post it online. That way, everyone can see just what kind of people the Kilbourne family truly is!”
Eloise walked over to Maryanne and glanced at the parcel. It was the homemade jerky Felicia always sent her. Knowing how much Eloise loved it, Felicia would cure her own meat and make jerky for her every year.
“Pass it to me, Maryanne,” Eloise said as she reached out to take the box. Yet, before she could, Lily abruptly rushed over and knocked it over.
