Chapter 66 Always Free for You
Eric replied. “The sites are all part of Flint Group. No matter which one you choose, it’s free. Of course, if you really want to pay, you could treat me to a few extra meals.”
At this point, he suddenly let out a heavy sigh. “I had a video conference last night and have been busy until now. If only someone could send me a nutritious breakfast…”
Iblinked and immediately understood.
He was fishing for a favor.
Well, since he had this in mind, I didn’t feel too burdened, “Wait for me. I’ll bring it over in a bit!”
Half an hour later, 1 was done preparing a nutritious breakfast and headed next door. Since meeting Eric, I had never been to his house before. The door was ajar, probably intentionally left open by him, so I walked right in
The villa’s decor reflected his personality–cold, calm, and quiet, with a subtle, almost chilling air about it.

As soon as I set the breakfast down, he came downstairs.
Looking closely, I noticed dark bags under his deep, dark eyes. “How long have you been working to get this exhausted?”
I couldn’t help but comment. I was about to open the breakfast when I suddenly felt something warm against my back. Before I could react, I felt a firm, solid chest press against me.
In an instant, my body froze, and before I could react, his sharp chin rested on my shoulder. “T’ve always been busy, but I often free my time for you.”
He wrapped both arms around me, his tall frame almost enveloping me.
I stayed stiff, not daring to move. I was only able to stammer a reply, “Q–Quick, eat your breakfast, or it’ll get cold ”
Seemingly sensing my nervousness, he chuckled softly and finally released me. He sat down across from me and spoke with a meaningful smile.
“I used to think life was all dull and monotonous, but now, it suddenly feels like there’s something I care about even in the
dullness and monotony.”

He finally picked up his fork and started eating slowly.
After a moment, I remembered the matter at hand, took out the contract from my bag, and placed it in front of him before
speaking seriously.
“I’ve thought about it. I can’t keep owing you favors, so I’ve prepared this contract. If you’re willing to rent the site to me, you’ll become a shareholder. When my business starts turning a profit, you’ll get 10% of the earnings. How does that sound?”
He raised his eyebrows in surprise, glanced at the contract, and nodded without hesitation.
I went straight to the point. “I’d like to visit the site in person today. That’s okay, right?”
He nodded again, finishing his meal and leisurely wiping his mouth. “Now that my work is done, I’ll go with you. If I’m not there, they might not treat you with enough respect.”
At first, I thought it wasn’t necessary, but after thinking about it, having him there would probably make the contract signing smoother, so I didn’t refuse.
In the morning, Eric and I headed to the site. When we arrived, a manager was respectfully waiting
“Mr. Flint, the place has been cleaned and is ready.”

A flash of surprise crossed my eyes, but seeing that Eric didn’t explain, I followed his lead into the site. Once inside, the sight before me lett me even more stunned.
