Chapter 19
Violet’s POV
“Are you sure this isn’t too much? We are only going to a movie,” I asked as I looked at myself through the long mirror. Attached to my room’s walk-in closet door.
“No, it is not too much. You look beautiful, V,” Emily replied. It was time for my date with Ryan, and I was so nervous. It was my first date, and I was worried I would make a fool out of myself.
A knock came on my door, and Emily went to open it.
“You look so Beautiful, Violet,” Traci said as she walked inside.
“Thank you,” I replied
“See. I told you,” Emily said.
About half an hour later, another knock came on my bedroom door, and I began to get nervous.
“I will get it,” Traci said and opened my bedroom door. Ryan was standing there with a black suit on, looking as hot as ever, with a bouquet of Roses in his hand.
“You look gorgeous, Violet,” he said as he checked me out from head to toe.
“Thanks,” I said. I was sure I was. My cheeks were redder than ever. Ryan seemed to be in a trance as his eyes never left my

body. Suddenly Emily cleared her throat, which seemed to get. him out of his trance.
“Oh, these are for you,” Ryan said, handing the flowers to me.
“Thanks, they are so pretty,” I said
“You two should get going before you miss the movie. I will take the flowers and put them in a vase for you,” Traci said
“Thank you,” I said and walked over to where Sof was sitting watching tv. “I will see you later, Sof,” I said. Then I hugged her and kissed the top of her head.
“I want you two to have a great time and stay out as long as you like. Sofia will be okay here with me,” Traci said
‘Thank you,” I replied. I grabbed my purse, and we walked out of the room. When we got to his car, Ryan opened the passenger side door for me. “Thanks,” I said and got in the car. Ryan closed the door, and I put my seat belt on. Ryan got on the driver’s side, and we left for the movies.
Ryan let me pick the movie, and I chose The Fast and The Furious 9, which I could tell made Ryan happy. I was sure he thought I would prefer a love story instead. He bought us popcorn and drinks, and we went and sat in the theatre.
While we were watching the movie, I became cold. I was in a short sundress and didn’t bring a sweater. I guess Ryan could tell I was cold. Probably by my shaking, so he took off his suit Jack and placed it over my shoulders, which made my heart flutter.
“Thanks,” I whispered.

“I can’t let my girl freeze to death or become sick, can I?’ Ryan whispered huskily in my ear, causing a shiver to go through me. Ryan let out a chuckle and went back to watching the movie.
A few minutes later, Ryan placed his arm around my shoulder and put his hand on my hand, holding it. His action caused those pleasurable tingles to go through my body that I only felt from his touch. I didn’t pull my hand away from him, to his surprise and mine. I found myself leaning into him as if on instinct. It was crazy how right it felt to be so close to each other. It was like we fit together, and were meant to be together.
“That was a good movie,” I said as we walked out of the movie theater.
“Yes, it was. I didn’t think you would be into movies like that,” Ryan said
‘What kind of movies did you think I would be into,” I asked.
“I don’t know. Mostly love stories Ryan replied
“Would you have been upset if I would have chosen a love story?” I asked
“No. I would have watched anything you picked. As long as I was with you, I wouldn’t have cared,” Ryan said, shocking me. His comment made my heart flutter.
“You shouldn’t have said that. Next time we go out, I will choose a love story,” I replied
So that means there will be a next time?” Ryan asked happily.
“If the night keeps going like this, then yes. There is a good

chance of there being a next time,” I replied
“Why don’t we get something to eat? I am sure you are hungry after the movie,” Ryan said
“Okay,” I replied
We got in the car, and Ryan drove to an Italian Restaurant.
“Hello, what can I get for you?” a woman in her early twenties asked. I didn’t like the way she was checking Ryan out. It was like she was eye raping him and didn’t even notice my presents.
“Do you know what you want, beautiful,” Ryan said, looking at
me.
“I will have the lasagna,” I said
“And for you, sir,” She asked.
“I will have the chicken alfredo,” Ryan replied. She took the menus from us but didn’t move from her spot. Her eyes were still on Ryan.
“Is there anything else I can get you, sir?”
“No, that is it. Thanks,” Ryan said
“IF there is anything, and I do mean anything else, you need. My name is Sammie. Don’t hesitate to ask,” she said, pi***ng me off.
“He said he didn’t need anything else from you,” I said angrily, and the woman looked at me with a glare before walking away.
I looked to see Ryan looking at me with a smile on his face.

“What,” I asked
‘Nothing. You just seemed upset at the waitress,” Ryan said
“You mean Sammie?” I asked
“I guess. May I ask why you are upset?” Ryan asked
“I am not upset. She just wasn’t doing her job right flirting with her customers,” I said,
Ryan looked at me with an even bigger smile on his face.
“What,” I asked
“Are you sure that is why you are mad?” Ryan asked
“Yep,” I replied
“Okay, but I want you to know I only have eyes for you. You don’t have to worry about any other woman.”
