Ryan’s POV
“You called for me, dad?” I asked as I walked into my father’s office.
“Yes, have a seat, son. I need to talk to you about something important,” my dad said. I could, see by his facial expression that he was stressed out. I was used to seeing him stressed because he was the Alpha of our Pack, but he seemed to be worried about something.
“Is everything alright, dad?” I asked as I sat across from him.
“The Werewolf Council believes it is time for me to hand the Pack down to you. You are twenty-one now and should have taken over at eighteen,” My dad said
“Well, I don’t normally agree with the Council, but I do agree with them on this. I have wanted to take over since I turned eighteen,” I said
“I know, but you know why I didn’t hand the Pack down to you back then,” My dad said.
“I know,” I replied. A Werewolf usually becomes Alpha of the Pack at eighteen because they normally find their Mate by then. A werewolf can sense their Mate when they turn sixteen years old. I am twenty one and still haven’t found my Mate. It is hard seeing most of the werewolves I grew up with happy and Fully Mated with pups.

“The Werewolf Council wants me to make you Alpha, and so do I, but they have a condition. You will have to either find your Mate or pick a chosen one. They want you to do this by the end. of the month.”
“What, no. I don’t want to choose a Mate dad,” I said. I always wanted to find my fated Mate. The one, the Moon Goddess, created only for me and me for her. If I took a chosen Mate, I would be stuck with them unless I found my true Mate. They would be the only ones that can sever the bond of a chosen.

“I know you don’t want to choose a Mate, but it is the only way for you to become Alpha. If you don’t find or choose a Mate by the end of the month, the Council plans to make someone else Alpha our Pack,” My dad said
“What.”
“They feel I am too old to run this Pack. If you don’t choose a Mate, they plan on making Tyson the Alpha,” my dad said
“Tyson! Why would they give him the Pack?” I asked. Tyson was the Ga**a’s son and soon to be Ga***ma. We never got along, and I planned on making someone else Ga***a when I became Alpha.
“They asked Carter to take over, but he said he would never do that. He told the Council you were the rightful Alpha,” My dad said and then placed his hand on mine. “I know you don’t want to choose a Mate, but it might be the only way to keep this Pack safe. You and I both know Tyson wouldn’t make a good Alpha. You should choose Jane. The two of you have been dating for years now,” My dad said.

I cared for Jane and had love for her, but I knew she wasn’t my Fated Mate, and I wasn’t in love with her. That meant someone out there was my true love. I didn’t want to miss out on the
feelings I heard you feel when you met your fated Mate. I have heard that there is no pleasure better than that. No one will ever make a werewolf truly happy. Not like a werewolf’s true Mate would.
I also knew I couldn’t let Tyson become Alpha. I was supposed to be Alpha, and there was no way I would let him take that away from me. I cared for Jane and knew she would make me happy. The only problem was while we had been together, I was never faithful to her. Would I be satisfied only being with her? Once werewolves find their fated Mate or choose a mate, they are tied to them forever. They will never want to be with anyone else unless they choose a Mate and find their Fated one. That was the only exception..
I was also worried about finding my Fated after choosing a Mate. If I made Jane my Mate in a month and found my Fated Mate a day later, I would have to get the Council’s permission to sever Jane and my bond and be with my Fated one.
I have seen where the Werewolf Council has denied someone’s request to break their bond with a chosen mate and claim their destined one. It happened to my older cousin Michael, and he hasn’t been happy with his chosen Mate ever since. Michael is the Alpha of the Half Moon Pack. He didn’t find his Mate at eighteen and waited a year before choosing his Mate so that he could take over his Pack. He is one of the reasons I don’t want to choose a Mate. But now I don’t think I have a choice. I have to do the right thing for my Pack. Jane has been asking me to make her my Mate for a long time now. Plus, I probably won’t find my Mate anyway.

“You wanted to talk to me, Baby,” Jane said as she walked into my room. I looked at her, and my eyes turned dark. She wore short shorts and a red top with no bra, which showed her breast. She was hot, with long blond hair and blue eyes. Her breast wasn’t as big as I would like them to be, but I could do with them. It helped that she was a very sexual girl and loved to pleasure me. It wouldn’t be so bad making her my chosen Mate.
“I have something to tell you. I have chosen to make you my Chosen Mate,” I said. She looked at me with a shocked
expression that quickly turned into a smile. Then, she ran over to me and hugged me.
“I knew you would choose me one day. I love you so much, Ryan,” She said
“Me too,” I replied.
Jane pulled away from me and began taking her clothes off. Then, she kneeled before me and started to remove my jeans. I helped her take off my jeans and then my boxers. I groaned when I felt her warm mouth on my d***k. I put my hand in her hair, making her take more of me, and she began to gag. I came down her throat without warning, and she sucked me until nothing was left.

strawberries and Vanilla. I looked by Emily’s door to see the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. She was wearing a light blue dress and had long black hair and the most beautiful green eyes.
I was shocked when I heard my wolf say the one thing I never thought I would listen to him say.
