Lila clenched her fingers, her emotions a tangled mess.
After finishing her tasks for the day, she went straight back to the hotel, skipping dinner with the others.
Amelia watched her leave, feeling easy. “Do you think it’s because I brought up Dorian getting hurt? Is she still worried about him?”

Meanwhile, Lila had already retumed to her room and went through her night routine. Then, feeling drained, she laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
She didn’t even remember when she fell asleep, but the following day, she woke up before the alarm went off
She didn’t go back to sleep. Instead, she got ready to head to the set early to prepare for the day’s work.
She exited the hotel lobby and saw Darcy stoming over in highheels.
With her heavy makeup look, Lila felt like an angry monkey was charging at her.
