“Hahaha!!!! As expected from Benefort! You are truly unpredictable!” Clint laughs loudly at Benefort who is pinching the bridge of his nose.

“It’s not funny, Clint. Those kids are really something. The amount of pheromones they released angrily, if it was anyone else in my place, they would have been passed out immediately. Man! It’s unbelievable that your daughter is an Omega!”

Clint grins proudly…

Alpha Benefort nods his head constantly before looking at him,

“So have you run that test on the kids? Judging by the kids, they don’t seem to be average Wolves as well. You missed Benedetta’s test as well. You might find out about her power!”

Benefort asks in a serious expression.

Clint scratches his head and frowns. ” Benedetta’s mother refused to give her blood to run the test. She might have been afraid that her daughter would get some unpleasant powers from her clans. That’s why I didn’t do anything. Also she didn’t show any sort of power yet. About the kids, it’s not possible now. Benedetta is uncomfortable with this! She wants to raise them as average Wolves.”

Benefort asks since it’s important for them.

” She said she hated how people who didn’t have any powers were bullied by those so called strong people. She doesn’t want her kids to grow up as arrogant. And I respect that. After knowing that Carlos and Killian got the exact powers as mine, they turned into beasts. Because of this, Benedetta hated them. Also I thought that it was a proud moment for me to see my kids inheriting my power. But when she left the house because of my negligence and her brothers‘ inhumane natures, we all realized that it was nothing compared to the pain of losing the last gift from my wife.” Clint sighs.

Also, we need Spencer’s blood to confirm their powers. Spencer’s power is also being covered strictly. We can’t sense his power or his family didn’t give any kind of statement. So It’s safe to keep them unawakened.”

That’s true!” Benefort agrees and sighs, “Sometimes I feel so unpleasant around Spencer.”

“Unpleasant? I never felt that!” Clint asks confusedly.

‘C’mon! We all know that it’s just a myth. I am sure some writers write those books to confuse us. Also, the Dark elf is full of magical power, according to the book. Spencer is a wolf. His wolf is too huge to refuse to mention it” Clint chuckles.

“That’s true. Maybe because he is the dominant Alpha. The feeling of being inferior hits hard!” Benefort sighs.

“So have you thought about your twins? Benefort!” Clint grins, pouring the wine in the glass.

“I don’t want to be in–law with you. Don’t dare to mention it in front of me!”

“Oh! C’mon! Your twin daughters are getting older like my stupid sons. I thought they would bring my Daughter–in–laws home as soon as they hit puberty. Lol. They didn’t even meet their mates. You said your kids didn’t find their mates either. Isn’t it a good coincidence?” He winks at Benefort.

“Fine! But I will have to ask them first. They’re busy handling the business with their brother.”

* Let them meet too. My sons are already here.”

“They came? Didn’t they reject my invitation?” Benefort looks surprised.

“Karla is here. She is the apple of their eyes. Obviously, they’ll tail them without any questions!”

“Hah. Those brats dared to reject the invitation on my face and now enjoying my party. I’m not giving my daughters to those brats!” He gulps the wine and screams.

“pfft!!! You didn’t change. You fool! Here, have another glass of wine!”

Meanwhile,

Benedetta is fuming. The kids are just adding more fuel in her rage.

“Uncle! Your eyes are so beautiful, like Scarlet’s!” Bryan tries to touch his eyelids.

“My eyes are more shiny!” Scarlet pouts.

Spencer has been sitting in the waiting room with the kids and Benedetta. From here, they can see the ocean and the waves hitting the ship.

Benedetta can’t help but feel so pissed with the kids. They’re refusing to go with her and obviously she doesn’t want them to spend time with Spencer at all.

Spencer meanwhile isn’t upset about the results of the meeting. Working with her is the very first thing he wanted to do.

“My eyes are like mom’s. They’re hazel green eyes. Aren’t they beautiful?” Bryan asks, widening his eyes.

Spencer can’t help but nod, “They’re really beautiful. Those dark brown eyes were dreamy!”

Benedetta flinches when he subconsciously says that. To cover her real eye color, she used to wear dark brown eye contacts. Jasmine doesn’t have brown eyes. Those are deep blue. And obviously beautiful.

“Really? Whose eyes color is dark brown?” Scarlet asks immediately, looking at her father confusedly.

“Hah?” Spencer looks at her with confusion.

You said Dark brown eyes were dreamy. Whose!?”

“That-!” Spencer becomes silent because he doesn’t know how to say that and lying isn’t an option.

“I wonder-” Bryan joins the same conversation wondering whose eyes are brown.

“Enough for today!” Benedetta stands up abruptly and grabs the kids hands. ” It’s time for the spa. Let’s go!”

But mommy!” Scarlet shows hesitation.

“Don’t you want to go?” Benedetta asks coldly.

“Yeah!” She sighs sadly and runs towards the elevator with tearful eyes.

Bryan follows her soon after.

“Wait for me! You kids!” She attempts to leave the room but pauses when Spencer finally speaks to her.

“Is he really your fiancé and their father?” He asks. But judging by his tone, she feels the hint of his awareness.

“Is there anything that makes you doubt?” She asks, trying to be ignorant about this.

“We both are legally married and each other’s mate. So it will be –!”

Coming from the man who has his Luna at home. That’s laughable!” She says, scoffing.

“Also why would you be so interested in my life? Isn’t it what you wanted? Marrying your love of life. That’s why you left me in that car, dying. You announced your engagement after a month and married on that day. You surprised me a lot in my life. But it was the worst surprise. And obviously, thanks to that, I am happy now. Are you feeling bad about this?” She smirks.
