Some employees are distributing the room cards next to the door to downstairs the royal suites so that they don’t have to go through some troubles to get their room cards.
After getting the keys, Diego approaches the kids who are almost ready to say Hello to Spencer. Spencer’s smile never left his usual cold and frozen face. And of course, Like a stalker, Jasmine’s eyes were observing his expression whole time.
“Shall we go, Cupcakes?” Diego kisses their checks before lifting in his arms.
“Let’s go, Miss Olivia!”
Olivia nods and follows them. Spencer who is standing there silently, glances at the kids once again. There is no way he can ignore those eyes and those chins. The tickling sensation in his heart keeps bothering him.
We should get going, Spencer! I hope you won’t hurt me this time!” Jasmine grabs his arm and walks towards the door. Their servants already got their room cards.
As response to her words, all he can do is clench his fist.
The back of Benedetta has grown wider. She got some useful fat around her waist. Probably from her pregnancy. Her voice, her smile, her scent, everything seems to be exact as he remembers.
However, she isn’t his anymore. That’s enough to change everything.
Spencer like a frozen, cold and indifferent person walks with Jasmine who is talking about some random things and being excited about nothingness.
But his eyes are on that family, walking before him, smiling, holding their hands and loving each other.
* Mama! Can I have some ice cream please?” Bryan points to the ice–cream bar and shouts.
Apricot? Can I, Mama?”
“No. You have allergies to Apricots. How many times will you have forgotten about it?”
“But I want to eat apricots. Because of this allergic reaction, I can’t eat my favorite foods!” Bryan pouts, resting his head on Diego’s shoulder.
Benedetta sighs deeply,” let’s get something else!”
Spencer pauses momentarily and watches them to walking towards the Ice cream bar.
Alpha is Allergic to Apricots, aren’t you?” Leon asks, glancing at Bryan as well.
“Let’s go!” He coldly asks, approaching their suite.
Spencer doesn’t know that answer. Maybe he is too scared to face the answer. All he can do is watch them with nothing but self–hatred, hate for this woman who played a nice death game.
Benedetta and her family settle in the Royal Suite. They have three bedrooms, an entire lobby from where they can enjoy the scenery out there, and a small swimming pool. Benedetta enters her bedroom and unpacks her belongings.
But her attention goes to the kids who are standing before the door and looking at her with a smile.

Once she puts her clothes in the closet, she walks towards them. The tiny pups sometimes look so mysterious to her that she doesn’t know what to ask.
*Anything you need? I will be in your room once I am done!”
Hey! Mama!” Bryan hugs her knees and looks up,” Can we go to Olivia Aunt’s? We want to talk to Auntie more!”
Their eyes spark with expectations as they look at her. Benedetta chuckles and pinches his checks.
“You don’t have to tell me this. Go ahead. Our bodyguards are out there. So don’t worry about it!”
“Thanks, Mama! We’re good kids. We must inform you before we leave, right?” Scarlet sugarcoats a bit before she winks at Bryan.
Bryan nods obediently and kisses his mother’s knuckles. “Will be back soon, Mama!”
“Don’t run around. I heard we had another family here. They might feel disturbed!”
Don’t worry, Mama.”
The kids grab their own small backpacks and storm out. Benedetta can’t help but chuckle. They’re just growing faster. Even becoming independent.
“Let them leave already?”
She flinches when Diego suddenly says, leaning his shoulder against the door.
“Oh! Yeah. They should enjoy the time freely. Also Scarlet is depending. She can manage her brother and Bryan is strong enough to protect each other!”
“They’re still children. Only four!”
Benedetta sighs deeply and looks at Diego with a smile, ” You will be a good father. Diego! But I used to feel suffocated when my father let three maids around me follow nonstop. Sometimes kids need to explore themselves. Also this floor is the same. Don’t worry!” She says, grabbing the last piece of clothing to put it in the closet.
“Why did you actually leave the house when you were young? Judging by your relationship with your family, I still can’t find an answer!” Diego asks.
She pauses for a second and looks at him, “Let’s talk while enjoying the scenery. The sun is almost setting.
“A glass of wine?”
“Love it “She grins.
After settling everything, Benedetta puts on a hoodie and Baggy trousers. Diego is already in the lounge with two glasses of wine, some cheese. The sun is peeling the orange hue off its surface, m making the claiming the ocean claim as it’s canvas.
“Feels great, doesn’t it?” She asks, sitting on the swing chair next to Diego.
“Yeah. The ocean is calm as well.”
Perfect weather!”
So why did you leave?” Diego asks with full curiosity.
“Hmm-!” Benedetta glances at the surface of the wine,
It wasn’t home. I felt alone even though I was there. My birthday had never been celebrated. Dad never talked to me unless.

it was an emergency. Brothers were ruthless but always ignored me. It wasn’t a home to live in!” She said, sipping the wine.
“Did you forgive them?”

“I even blamed them. Dad lost the woman he loved. My brothers were only five when they lost their mother. And obviously I was the reason. We grew apart eventually. No matter what people say, they lost more than I did. If I wasn’t born-!”
“It wasn’t your fault”
“I know. No child asks to be born. That’s why I don’t blame myself either. Each person has their own grief and a way to deal with it. Also I wasn’t less stubborn either. When they realized I finally left, they begged me to come back. But by the time I fell in love with a wrong person and wasted my ten years there. They begged and warned me that whoever I was chasing would leave me with nothing but pain. They are right now. Each day passes, I still feel like I am not over all those painful things.”
A painful smile appeared with tears in her eyes. Her lips quiver. The roots of her hair stand up with the thought of those years. She hates to remember them.
Diego sighs and holds her hand. ” Don’t worry! This time, everything will be alright. You have us. Our babies know you as their role model. Let them go to hell. You shouldn’t remember those useless past that left you dying in the car and never looked back”
Benedetta nods and chugs down the wine.
However, both of them turn towards the direction of the next door pool. Both of them has no idea that the other lounge is open lounge like theirs. And obviously whoever is in next door has listened to their conversation.
Diego stands up to check. As he approaches to know if everything is alright, his eyes only catch the sight of shattered glasses. The watcher is scattered everywhere.
“What is it?”
“A broken glass. Probably they dropped it.”
“Did they hear anything?” She asked,
“Probably.” Diego said, sighing.” Maybe we were a bit comfortable with it.”
“Don’t mind! Everyone knows that I ran away from home. I just repeated what they know. Come on. Sit back. Let’s enjoy the evening!” She grins, pouring another glass of wine.
Meanwhile,
Spencer is just standing there silently. Some pieces of glass have pierced in his palm.
“This anger is not justified!” He murmured. Walking towards the kitchen.
