Chapter 105 I’m Still Your Favorite
Seeing Nathaniel Hart in such a state, Sofia Schneider couldn’t stay mad at him.
She could only let him tease her.
Sofia took a deep breath and said, “From now on, no talking. If you do, I won’t take care of you anymore.”
Nathaniel buried his face in the pillow, avoiding looking at Sofia, hoping it would make him feel less miserable.
Sofia didn’t know what Nathaniel was thinking. Seeing him finally quiet down, she pouted slightly and walked over to check his wound.
Thankfully, the wound hadn’t been affected, which reassured Sofia.
She applied another layer of pain relief medication and left the wound exposed to the air to aid in healing.
Nathaniel noticed this and finally lifted his head from the pillow, turning to ask, “Sofia, what about my clothes?”
“Your wound needs to air out to heal better,” Sofia said.
Nathaniel replied, “I thought you just wanted to see my body more.”
Sofia immediately gave Nathaniel a light smack. Although not hard, the sudden movement startled him.
His body’s reflex made him jolt, causing the wound to hurt again.
Frustrated, Nathaniel buried his face back into the pillow.
Sofia ignored him, picked up the unfinished porridge, and said, “Stay here by yourself for a bit. I’m going out.
Nathaniel responded with a muffled sound from the pillow, not even looking at Sofia.
Sofia blinked innocently, confused by Nathaniel’s attitude.

She had just lightly tapped him, not even hard, so why did he seem so upset?
Deciding not to bother him further, Sofia left the room.

Older Mr. Hart approached as she exited and said, “Sofia, go have lunch. I’ll watch over Nathaniel.”
“Okay, Grandpa,” Sofia replied. “Just make sure to tell Mr. Hart not to move around.”
Older Mr. Hart nodded repeatedly, treating Sofia’s words like commands.
Sofia went to the dining room where Sylvia Grant was waiting with a bowl of noodles.
“Finally, your turn to eat. I swear your heart is attached to Mr. Hart. When will you ever put yourself first?”
“You know my condition. I don’t need things as much as normal people,” Sofia said.
Sylvia pouted, “But you can’t keep going like this. When have you ever slept for over ten hours?”
Sofia replied, “Well, it’s good. I made up for all the sleep I missed.”
Sylvia, unable to win the argument, went to the kitchen and brought out a salad. “Then make up
for all the meals you missed too.”
Sofia looked at the mushroom soup and then at the salad. She took a bite and said, “I’m not that hungry. You can have the rest.”
“I’m supposed to be a big star. You’re trying to make me fat?” Sylvia complained.
Despite her words, she quickly finished the salad.
Sofia chuckled and started eating her noodles. What are your plans?”
“That depends on how Curtis Hart treats me,” Sylvia said.
Knowing her, once she entered the entertainment industry, she aimed for the top.
She wouldn’t stop until she achieved all the possible success.
Sofia warned, “Be careful. The industry is not easy.”

The celebrity world was complex. For them, fame and fortune didn’t require entering such circles.
Sofia herself didn’t like being too involved in that world, but circumstances had forced her hand over the years.
Now that Sylvia was entering the industry, Sofia wouldn’t ignore her.
She’d use all her resources to support her.
Sylvia reassured, “Don’t worry. You know me. If I sense anything wrong, I’ll back out immediately.”
“Good. That’s all I need to hear,” Sofia said.
After finishing the salad, Sylvia thought for a moment and asked, “Sofia, are you worried about me or Curtis?”
“What do you think?” Sofia looked at her meaningfully.
“He’s going to be your brother–in–law. Is it good to be so wary of him?” Sylvia asked.
Sofia replied, “That depends on how he treats Mr. Hart and you.”
If Curtis harmed either of them, she wouldn’t let it slide.
Sylvia felt relieved, saying, “So, I’m still your favorite!”
Curtis was Nathaniel’s brother, and Sofia’s concerns were clearly more about Sylvia.
Sylvia couldn’t help but wonder what Sofia would do if Curtis ever crossed the line.
Sofia didn’t answer directly, only giving Sylvia a look.
That look told Sylvia everything she needed to know.
If anything happened, Curtis would face serious consequences.
The last time Sylvia saw that look was years ago when someone harmed Sofia’s student.
Sofia had exacted severe retribution, dismantling an entire gang and taking down its leader.

That incident showed them all how dangerous Sofia could be when provoked.
From then on, Sylvia knew better than to underestimate Sofia.
