The song stealing fiasco was resolved with
the verdict that I was just jealous of Tiffany’s
talent.
Liam looked at me, about to say something,
but decided against it.
Jake brought Tiffany to find me.
He called it an apology, but it was a bragging session.
Tiffany was being all pitiful, she reached out
to me, but I avoided it. “Ah!”
Liam frowned, his face hard. “She said don’t touch her.”
く
She pulled back, and Jake stepped in front of
her. “Chloe, don’t be so cruel. Tiffany is going
to apologize. What else do you want?”
“Apologize? She could get on her knees, begging, I still won’t forgive her.”
I coldly looked at Jake, a mocking laugh coming out of me. “From now on, we’re done.
“Don’t worry, I will find the proof that I wrote this song. You won’t get away with this.
Everyone says a mute person’s pain isn’t heard, their pain unseen.
I may be mute, but I won’t suffer in silence.
And I won’t let others force me to suffer.
<
Actually, I wasn’t always mute.
I could speak before.
Because of an accident, I lost my voice.
Or, more like, I got sick.
