Chapter 93 If She Had Heard Wrong?
Sylvia Grant was woken up by a phone call the next morning.
An unknown number kept calling her non–stop even after she hung up.
She was the type who got really cranky when woken up, and this call was driving her to the brink of collapse.
After her phone rang for another two minutes, Sylvia finally grabbed it and yelled, “I don’t care who you are, but if you dare disturb my sleep, you better hide well, otherwise I’ll kill you.”
After yelling, Sylvia hung up, turned off her phone, grabbed her blanket, and went back to sleep.
Curtis Hart sat in his office chair, watching his assistant awkwardly put away the phone. He said, “Alright, give me her number. I’ll contact her myself later.”
The assistant hesitantly asked, “Boss, is she really going to kill me?”
“Are you out of your mind?” Curtis was almost driven mad by his foolish assistant.
Even if Sylvia had the intention, she would need the guts to do it.
This is a law–abiding country.
If she really dared to do that, it would mean she had a death wish.
However, the assistant just looked at him pitifully and asked, “But, boss, Miss Grant seems really hard to deal with.”
“As long as I’m here, what are you afraid of? Do you think I’d let you handle anything on your own?” Curtis glared at him.
The assistant wanted to say something else but seeing his boss’s dark expression, he decided to keep quiet.
Curtis sent him off to do his own work.
After the assistant left, Curtis played with his phone in his hand.

Sylvia, this woman, was really interesting.

Even though she was yelling at them, because she wasn’t fully awake, her voice lacked any real threat. Instead, it was soft and cute, making him feel a strange sensation.
Curtis’s interest in Sylvia grew even more.
Sylvia had no idea that a man was now fixated on her, not just for her looks, but also for her voice.
She finally woke up in the afternoon.
She reached for her phone and realized she had turned it off in a fit of anger that morning.
This made Sylvia even more annoyed.
She had a serious phone addiction, the kind where she needed to see her phone screen as soon as she opened her eyes.
Otherwise, she’d get really irritable.
Even though it only took a few seconds to turn on her phone, those few seconds were enough to ruin Sylvia’s mood.
However, what made Sylvia even angrier was that as soon as she turned on her phone, before she could look at what she wanted, another call came in.
And it was from another unknown number.
Sylvia had a feeling it was the same person who had disturbed her sleep.
She squinted her eyes and answered the call, saying, “Who are you? What do you want?”
She had suppressed her anger, but her voice was still icy cold.
Curtis didn’t expect to hear such a tone from Sylvia.
He was stunned for a moment before saying, “We just met last night. Miss Grant, have you forgotten?”

Sylvia immediately recognized the voice.
Her face darkened, and she said, “What do you want?”
Sylvia’s first reaction was that Curtis was coming to ask for his money back.
After giving her fifty thousand dollars so easily last night, he probably felt like a fool and now wanted his money back.
But Nathaniel Hart said, “Miss Grant, I forgot to introduce myself last night. I’m Curtis, the president of Mystic Entertainment Inc. I wonder if Miss Grant is interested in becoming an
actress.”
Sylvia was ready to snap back at Curtis, but his words caught her off guard.
“Actress?” Sylvia repeated, even wondering if she had heard wrong.
Curtis said, “Miss Grant, your image is perfect for it.”
Sylvia was speechless.
If she wanted to be an actress, she would have already been famous worldwide.
Why would she wait until now for him to come to her?
She was about to refuse when Curtis said, “Miss Grant, don’t be in a hurry to reject me. Why don’t we meet somewhere to discuss it in detail? Then you can consider my proposal.”
Sylvia thought about it and realized it was a good opportunity to scam some money out of Curtis.
So she said, “Alright, you pick the place, and I’ll be there.”
Curtis didn’t expect it to go so smoothly.
He immediately gave her a location, as if afraid she would change her mind, and then hung up.
Sylvia held her phone, her face full of calculation.
She was curious about what this man wanted to do.
Chapter 93 if She Had Heard Wrong?
The information she had sent last night clearly painted her as a difficult woman.
Despite that, Curtis was still eager to meet her.
She didn’t mind teaching him a lesson and showing him what a harsh reality feels like.
With that in mind, Sylvia didn’t waste any time
She got out of bed, took a shower, and put on a meticulously glamorous makeup.
When she went downstairs after getting dressed, she saw Emiliano Rogers and Otis Frank eating watermelon.
Seeing her, they called out, “Sylvia, come have some watermelon. It’s really sweet.”
Sylvia circled around Otis and said, “Do I look like I’m in the mood to eat watermelon?”
With such beautiful makeup and a stunning dress, eating watermelon and risking getting juice on her dress would make her cry.
Otis then noticed how beautifully Sylvia was dressed.
He asked, “Sylvia, where are you going?”
Though he could never quite figure out Sylvia’s whereabouts, it was clear she had dressed up carefully, making him even more curious about her plans.
Even Emiliano looked at Sylvia with curiosity.
