Meanwhile, after talking to Sanya’s supervisor, Clifford was certain that the supervisor was not telling the truth. However, he did not alert him, only convinced once again that something was definitely off on Sanya’s end.
He thought it was the right decision to let Nina go over and sound her out first.
This was because among the war machines, the one who was the most chummy with Sanya was Nina. If she were the one asking, Sanya would likely tell her something.
It was currently a time of turmoil. Clifford could not even make me to spend with Nina, let alone divert his attention to investigate Sanya’s situation. He could only hope that after Nina went to see Sanya, she could really find out something.

“What’s with you wanting a surprise?” Charlie said as he gave Nina a tap on her head, feeling speechless. “What if we go over and Sanya is not at home? Wouldn’t it be a wasted trip? What’s wrong with coordinating first?”
Nina responded by asking in return, “Where can Sanya be if she’s not at home?”
Charlie said, “How would I know? Just like Gabriel. Look, he always comes to your place. Do you his home?”

After listening to Charlie’s explanation, she thought it made sense. As she reached for her phone, she compromised by saying, “Alright, I’ll call Sanya first to coordinate.”
Since Clifford knew Nina was going to meet Sanya, he asked Tyrone to send over all the basic information about Sanya after his meeting ended last night. It was very thoughtful of him.
Nina called Sanya according to the information that was sent over.
Soon, the call was answered on the other end of the line.

A lazy yet clear and pleasant voice came through. “Hello? Who is this?”
Nina went straight to the point and greeted Sanya, saying, “Sany, it’s me. Nina,”
When Sanya heard that it was Nina calling, her voice immediately became excited and joyful. “Nina, how come you suddenly called me?”

“Of course, it’s because I’m coming to see you. I initially intended to give you a surprise by showing up at your door and mooching your breakfast, but Charlie was worried that we might go and end up wasting our time, so he asked me to call you first to coordinate.”
Nina told her the whole story.
Sanya laughed and said, “Charlie is right. If you guys had come directly to see me at my place, I really wouldn’t have been
home.”

Surprised, she then asked, “Sanya, where are you off to? Aren’t war machines not allowed to move around freely? Your supervisor doesn’t tell you off, huh?”
‘I can go wherever I want because I have special permissions from Clifford,’ she thought. ‘But the other war machines are basically required to stay at home and wait for orders. Sanya said she’s not at home, and her supervisor didn’t report it?”
“Supervisor?” Sanya replied with a smile. “He won’t dare to speak out of turn.”
“Why is that?” Nina asked, curious.
Not hiding anything from Nina, Sanya replied frankly, “That’s because I have something on him, so he’s now my lackey. He’s very obedient and won’t do anything without his master’s orders
“Oh, Sanya, you’re really something. Can you teach me?”
Nina was a little envious.
Sanya was the most special one among the war machines because she was very good at dealing with other non–war machines. While Nina could only make Clifford obey her every command, Sanya was different.
Other than Clifford, everyone who came into contact with her would do as she said. It was really magical.
Sanya said with a smile, “Alright. If you want to learn, I’ll teach you. Learning more won’t do you any

Nina chuckled.
Charlie immediately rolled his eyes when he saw that Nina was taking forever to get to the point. Then, he walked forward, took Nina’s phone, and asked directly, “Sanya, we’re coming to meet you now. Where are you? Should we meet at your place or somewhere else?”
As Sanya simmered something, she slowly said to Charlie, “Charlie, I’m not at home now. If you’re coming to see me, I’ll send you the address, and you can meet me there.”
“Alright, we’ll head over now.”

Saying that, Charlie war about to hang up the phone.
When Nina saw this, she quickly grabbed Charlie’s hand. Just before he hung up, she added to Sanya, “Sanya, we’re coming over to eat. Get the food ready.
“No problem, Nina. See you at noon.”
“See ya
After hanging up the phone, Sanya leisurely continued cooking in the kitchen.
A short while later, Logan came downstairs. He smelled a strong aroma of alcohol wafting through the house, so he followed the scent to the kitchen, where he saw Sanya wearing an apron and cooking something in front of a pot.
When Sanya noticed that Logan had woken up, she said with a smile, “Good morning, Mr. Leith. Breakfast will be ready soon. Please wait a moment.”
Logan’s eyelids twitched slightly. “What are you doing?” he asked
Sanya raised her eyebrows. “You can’t even tell? I’m cooking for you. Am I thoughtful?”
“What are you cooking?” Logan asked again.
“Beef bourguignon. I noticed that the beef brisket in the fridge is about to expire. I thought we shouldn’t waste food, so I used it to cook right away. I’ve got good cooking skills, though.
“I’ve taken the master–level chef certification exam, and my cooking skills are not worse off than a five–star chef’s. How is it? You have a master–level chef cooking for you early in the morning. Feeling touched, right?”
Sanya smiled confidently.
Speechless, Logan said nothing. He just glanced at the red wine bottle next to Sanya. Then, he began to take a deep breath, and his blood pressure began to rise sharply.
He thought, ‘It’s the red wine I’ve treasured for years which is worth tens of thousands of dollars a bottle, and she’s using it to braise some nearly expired beef brisket.’
