Chapter 66 I’ll Walk You Back to Class
Kassidy Schneider raised her hand to hit Grace Schneider again.
However, Joseph Carter was even faster.
The moment she lifted her hand, he grabbed her wrist with even more force than before..
He even raised his other hand as if to slap Kassidy across the face.
Kassidy had never experienced anything like this before.
She had never been hit, not even close. She had never even seen such a threatening gesture aimed at her.
Maybe it was Joseph’s intimidating presence that made Kassidy instinctively shrink back,
She looked at the boy in front of her in terror, not understanding why he seemed even angrier than before.
Grace looked at Joseph and could feel the anger radiating from him.
Normally, she would despise a man who would raise his hand against a woman.
But Joseph didn’t give her that chance.
Even though he was extremely angry and had his hand raised so high, he didn’t actually hit Kassidy.
Joseph just said coldly, “This is a school. She’s my classmate. No matter what your relationship is, if you want to hit her, you have to ask me first.”
Kassidy seemed genuinely frightened by Joseph’s demeanor.
When Joseph let go of her, she stumbled backward and almost fell.
Joseph turned to Grace and said, “Are you sure you want to reason with her now? Do you really think she’ll listen?”
Grace understood what Joseph meant.

No matter what she said to Kassidy now, it would probably only make her angrier.
She looked at Joseph, still unsure of what to do.

Joseph said, “She’s not a student here. Just call security to kick her out.”
Grace’s eyes widened in shock, and she couldn’t help but think, “You’re not a student here either!”
But she was also confused because Joseph was wearing a school uniform, which couldn’t be faked.
Joseph said, “You go back to class. I’ll handle this.”
Grace hesitated but shook her head and said, “She’s my sister. I can’t do that to her.”
Joseph couldn’t understand this girl’s logic.
He didn’t get why, after being treated like this, she still remembered that this woman was her sister.
Had she ever thought about whether her sister still saw her as family?
But this was their family matter, and Joseph didn’t want to get involved.
He just wanted to make sure Grace wasn’t bullied too much. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to explain it to his teacher.
Thinking this, Joseph said, “Fine, you handle it. I’ll watch.”
Seeing this, Grace didn’t argue with him anymore and walked toward Kassidy.
“Kassidy, you should go back. This is a school. If you keep causing trouble, it won’t do you any good.”
She spoke sincerely, still
considering Kassidy’s well–being.
But Grace could see that Kassidy now saw her as an enemy and couldn’t understand her good intentions,
She sighed silently and said, “Kassidy, you used to be a student at this school. You know the school rules. Plus, if people find out about your status, it’ll be even worse for you.”

Grace didn’t know that what had happened in the classroom had already been posted
online.
Kassidy’s image was already ruined.
She had never been humiliated outside, and now being bullied by her own family wast something she couldn’t stand.
However, Joseph was like a bodyguard, following Grace closely, making it impossible for Kassidy to lash out at her.
After having her wrist grabbed twice, Kassidy was genuinely afraid of Joseph’s strength.
She was really scared.
So, Kassidy glared at Grace and said, “Just you wait. This isn’t over.”
With that, Kassidy turned and walked away.
Grace watched her leave, and when she was finally out of sight, she lowered her head, trying to hide the sadness in her eyes.
Joseph saw her lowered head and suddenly felt at a loss..
Was she crying?
He didn’t know how to comfort girls.
Oh no, someone save him!
His teacher never said this girl would cry!
Joseph was at a loss, not knowing whether to comfort her or ignore her.
After hesitating for a moment, Joseph secretly took out his phone and texted Sofia Schneider, “Sofia, your sister is crying. What should I do? I don’t know how to comfort people. Should I just leave? That woman is already gone.”
After sending the message, Joseph kept staring at his phone screen.
But no matter how long he waited, he didn’t get a reply from his teacher.
Chapter 66 11 Walk You Back to Class
Joseph was scared and didn’t dare to leave, so he continued to stay with Grace.
Finally, Grace calmed down and noticed that Joseph was still there.
She blinked and asked, “Why haven’t you left yet?”
Joseph thought to himself, “It’s all because of you!”

But he just smiled, showing a cute little fang, and said, “I’ll walk you back to class. Or do you want to go back to the dorm?”
Grace had never seen him smile before. She hadn’t noticed that he had a fang.
She had thought he was cold and ruthless, but now, with that smile, he looked cute.
Grace’s eyes were fixed on Joseph’s fang as she said, “You shouldn’t smile in the future.”
Hearing her words, Joseph was speechless, thinking this girl’s thoughts were too random.
Grace didn’t need him to ask why she shouldn’t smile.
She said directly, “When you smile, you lose your intimidating aura. The enemies won’t be scared of you.”
Joseph was speechless and stopped smiling.
He put on a serious face and said to Grace, “So, my enemy, do you want to go back to class or the dorm?”
Grace was amused by his fake fierce look.
She said, “The dorm. I don’t want to go to class and be stared at.”
She had already been stared at enough, and now, after being slapped by her own sister in public, Grace had her pride.
She didn’t want to face those sympathetic or mocking looks.
